I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Seeing Casino ballooning at Wimbledon fans after we drew 3-3 a couple of years back was a sight to behold

Was that the game Mrs @barryk32 also had a bit of a set to with Wimbledon fans?

I can see Palace being a bit of a force next season

Given that the FA Cup final is Stretford v Citeh does that give the red shite a European place no matter what ?

Presume so. Unfortunately.

No, they got rid of that rule a few years back I think, it goes to the next place in the league

Ha. Fantastic news. The only thing that could top that would be a fifth goal.

(Doesn’t help with undervaluing the FA Cup, but I’ll let it slide for this season, at least)

Indeed, if City win it goes to the league.

I’m not sure what would be funnier - Utd missing out on Europe altogether or finishing 7th and having to play a load of extra midweek fixtures in the arse end of nowhere in the Europa Conference League.

I think I'd rather see them playing in the European Conference, or whatever it's called, than not playing in Europe at all.

It’s a no from me. They’d end up winning the fucker and claiming they’re the champions of Europe like West Ham did (which was nothing compared to when they won the World Cup)

When Man Utd lost 5-0 at Crystal Palace in 1972 the manager was sacked 3 days later

And two(?) years later they got relegated.

WE WANT FIVE, WE WANT FIVE

Could have been

Don't know Mrs barryk32 though

With all the building work going on around the ground, they funneled us into them

And casino got giddy

As did Meldrew's lad

They had some bellends out that day. Though it’s a good day out.

Ten Hag should, around half an hour before that game finished, have been told to leave, had his passes & stuff removed, not to return to OT or Carrington, that his things would be sent on & had a car arranged to drive him back to his home.
