We aren't capable of scoring any of those Birmingham goals.  Not that I care, they'd be one of the top 2 any year in this league, we aren't competing with them, maybe only Huddersfield are.

As poor as Wrexham look, they score goals from set pieces/crosses, so they will win games, we don't have that in our locker so we have to find other ways with a team that doesn't shoot much.

are you joking? We scored some of the best goals of last season, not to mention the most. I understand you’re down on the players right now but let’s not forget how good they can be

I managed less than 5 minutes and had separate references to David Beckham having to explain to Tom Brady that you aim under the crossbar, can’t handle the ball or tackle off the ball 🙄

Or partially deflate the ball so it moves differently.

Last season we were better - mainly the loss of Maghoma's creativity, and better LWBs than Schon who occasionally put half decent crosses in.  But even last season we aren't scoring those goals.  Wicked cross and striker rising at back post to head it across keeper into the net - its years since we did similar, a striker's header from open play seems like a bygone age!  A curling 25 yarder hit with pace.

Genuinely not having a go at our players but that was a level above L1, as was the razor sharp alertness for the 1st goal.

27 years ago! Back when staying up late to watch CL highlights on ITV was worth it

Fancy that. A winger beating his man on the outside and putting a peach cross in with the correct foot.

It'll never catch on :)

Anyone know if he's at Cambridge for the season or just until Jan?

I'd say it's unlikely, but if he can stay fit and get a good run of games he could turn into the player that Evatt had us believe he'd signed.

Just seen the score. Zagreb playing cropper soccer?

They were 3-0 down at half time then got back into it 3-2 then fell apart. One of the pens was a harsh handball but the rest as you say cropper soccer!

8-2 now.

9-2

What is the point of the champions league now? Just a boring money making racket that Real Madrid will win again.

I prefer the larger groups in terms of mixing up the opponents rather than playing someone twice home and away

I don't want to see Real Madrid play Cluj twice

Watching Bayern, mad game.

That second goal was an absolute peach (as was Sportings).

I hope Sporting can hang on to Gyokeres to maintain our punters club betting success. Suspect you'll be seeing him in the PL in the not too distant future. Has everything a traditional no. 9 requires.
