I can see why they'd want him but felt sure they would have gone for Osimhen. I hope Gyokeres stays put. Been a boon to our punters club football betting kitty. Players just don’t stay in Portugal. I can’t see him being there too long. On a side note this is probably the best Sporting have been in my life time. Players wise they are a top exporter. Maritimo need to get back to winning ways against Alverca.

Members bolty58
Revising my possible 'third prediction' for Liverpool. They might make the Conference League. Wish Slot hadn't gone there. Like the bloke and what he did at Feyenoord.
Marc505
There used be a time when it was a treat listening to Peter Drury, like once a month in a European game. Not every Sunday.

A work in progress where expectations have to be managed.

I think this is the bollocks they pedal. They were the most pathetic club going. Mk was the best thing for them and the only reason they ended up at plough lane again. They also stole another clubs identity but that’s not so important. Plus they have some proper gimps for fans. Some that support both too. Each to their own and all that but it’s a bit naff. On both sides.

I managed less than 5 minutes and had separate references to David Beckham having to explain to Tom Brady that you aim under the crossbar, can’t handle the ball or tackle off the ball 🙄

We aren't capable of scoring any of those Birmingham goals. Not that I care, they'd be one of the top 2 any year in this league, we aren't competing with them, maybe only Huddersfield are. As poor as Wrexham look, they score goals from set pieces/crosses, so they will win games, we don't have that in our locker so we have to find other ways with a team that doesn't shoot much. Wanderlust
Brum have a bit of quality about them - that cross for their second and Iwata's strike for the third were class. And they are another big physical team who are good in possession. Enjoyed McClean being a twat.
