That second goal was an absolute peach (as was Sportings).

I hope Sporting can hang on to Gyokeres to maintain our punters club betting success. Suspect you'll be seeing him in the PL in the not too distant future. Has everything a traditional no. 9 requires.

Bet Coventry will be looking forward to the sell on clause

3 English teams to play in CL/EC final but have never won it?

Arsenal, Spurs and Who?

Missed the answer on talksport and can't for the life of me think who it could be?

Decent performance from the farmers.

I thought Italian clubs had cornered the market in playing in absolutely foul alternative kits at home, but City have achieved a good level of tackiness tonight.

Yeah, looked really slick in a lot of what they did. Inzaghi made me laugh too 😃

First was rather cheap :)

Goals a goal sonny.

Dont score 900 goals and pretend Saudis Arabia is a football country with that care free attitude.

By the way what the fuck have they done to the Goals show

Leeds were banned from European competition for four or five years after the 1975 final.

"The match may have been over but Leeds supporters were far from finished. “The diary and cost of the aftermath [which carried far into the night, with shattered windows and more] made grim reading – a lost eye for a German TV operator, a broken arm for a photographer, the smashing of a £50,000 television camera. All of this was caused by seats ripped from their moorings and launched like flying saucers - that is to say nothing of skirmishes in the city and damage to private property,” Green wrote.

Such was the impact of the violence that UEFA were even thought to be considering the possibility of abandoning European competition altogether. “It cannot go on like this,” said one senior figure. While a minority of Leeds fans ran amok on the streets of the French capital, Beeton and his travelling pals took themselves off to the Eiffel Tower for some sightseeing. The club itself would never scale such heights again."

First time I was aware of European football that game. Then grew up watching the scousers winning a load. Seemed a different world completely to watching us at Burnden under Greaves which was brilliant obviously. Days when the European Cup actually meant something

If you can be arsed going on YouTube and watching the highlights. Let’s just say that the ref didn’t have a great game. Much as I despise that Leeds side they were done out of that game

Credit where it's due, I only watched the first half but Inter looked very good.  Streets ahead of Milan.
