Just watched My lads under 13s match.

Their team was insistent of doing it.

They conceeded 4 straight goals after getting caught out by us after our lads cottoned on it.

It's a curse on football it really is.

Yes it now seems to be getting taught at kids level.   And I guess the phasing out of heading for U12s will encourage it even more.  The crossing and lumping it style that we were brought up on will be effectively outlawed in kids football, and they will doubtless carry their pass-at-all-costs habits into adult football.

Thankfully the amateur games I sometimes watch locally are more to my liking, up and at em, loads of long balls, heading, tackling and shooting.  Probably more passing than when I played because the pitches are better now, but still proper football and definitely more entertaining than Wolves v Liverpool.

Pep has a lot to answer for

City don't even do it like that's anymore.

They pass it around loads. Just not in their own box under pressure.

They certainly mix it up, started doing it last season. Constantly evolving.

Of course, and to be fair Pep's sides have always looked to get it forward quickly

It's just that he inspired all the pale imitations we now see

Oh dear.

On borrowed time this mon.

Needs to be given a 10 year contract.

Their demise is wonderful. Spurs aren't even that good and they've absolutely murdered them 🤣

These clips now of United supporters sitting in their seats in despair after FT are glorious

There it makes leaving the Reebok car parks seem fluid. You may as well sit it out.

When it comes to goal scoring he really doesn't do himself justice. Undoubted skill etc but falls at the final hurdle.

He must have had at least 20 of those one on ones in his time at Chelsea and Spurs and done the same thing every time, tapped it straight at keeper

Yeah, it's truly weird.

Must be a mental thing surely- he may as well just twat a few, and not worry about placing it.
