DazBob Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Maguire's kept Ten Hag in the job for a bit longer. I'm okay with that. Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Does anyone seriously take any notice of the Thursday night Euros games? Fair enough if your a small Scots or Irish team desperate for any recognition/income, but surely its embarrassing for a Prem team to be arsed until it gets to at least the Q-Fs. The managers are on a hiding to nothing, a defeat will be evidence against them but a win surely doesn't buy them any credit. Quote
Casino Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Never saw it like that 8 pints deep in Bulgaria Quote

Watching Eidurs son play at Stamford Bridge last night was of interest and, obviously, hoping to see the red rags fail in Oporto (as usual, the cunts let me down). Quote

When TNT took over BT sports and fucked about with the app I've never signed into it using my dad's account and I can't say I've missed it. Quote
Duck Egg Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I've no interest in European football anymore and coverage being on some obscure channel doesn't help either. I used to watch Sky Sports at breakfast to see the highlights but they don't have any actual football on there anymore, just a couple of herberts from the tabloids or social media chatting endlessly about the latest Man U crisis. gonzo Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 See all this lack of watching leads to everyone thinking foreign football is farmers league tackle Quote

Eddie Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Looking forward to Sunderland v Leeds more than I would most games in the Prem. Should be a belter Quote

No VAR, bit more blood and thunder but still some high quality football. Impressed by Sunderland so far - never heard of their boss! Quote
Eddie Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 That gets given offside in the Prem cause his big toe would have been off. Common sense says he’s in line and should get the benefit of the doubt and the fan’s celebrations are in the moment - long live football without VAR! Quote

Sounds mad but I wouldn't swap Barry Knight or Everton for anything. It's just all part of the fun and gives us something to be angry or bitter about for decades. Wolves fans absolutely hate us! gonzo Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 This standard is fookin lightyears from what we are or anything that's in our division. Quote

Is scary watching a decent quality Championship game isn't it, you wonder how we'd ever be able to get anywhere near that level again. Oxford holding their own though, gives me some hope that we'd be able to recruit and adapt to at least be competitive. Quote
