When derby sacked their manager it sounded like they weren't arsed about promotion and that they wanted to go up stronger so they didn't end up embarrassing themselves like that season they had in the prem

 

Maybe the plan was get a strong squad in place and take the hit of an embargo but they would have the necessary players in place, and also so none of their rivals could buy them
