The driver had been drinking heavily all day, there were empty bottles of sangsom everywhere, and all occupants were hammered. 4 police, one opened a door each, closed them and said smiling "Have good party" and waved us on. At what point did that become acceptable?' Doesn't reflect an "English" atmosphere at all. They might be decent lads, they've clearly traveled all over and spent thousands. But it's dismal and has been for years.
