Site Supporter MickyD Posted November 7, 2014 Site Supporter Share Posted November 7, 2014 Side note - why is it that McManaman ALWAYS turns into a world beater against us? He certainly ripped Scott Green a new arse in 1995 Coca Cola Cup Final
Site Supporter superjohnmcginlay Posted November 7, 2014 Site Supporter Share Posted November 7, 2014 First time since 1998 weve scored three at home in successive games And if the gentleman who sat in front of me tonight with the sheepskin jacket on, full credit for that. Site Supporter desperado Posted November 7, 2014 Site Supporter Share Posted November 7, 2014 adolf reckons his performance 'had nowt to do with football' the dick Just heard that. Sour grapes or what claiming both his centre halves were bullied by C. Davies. Happy to hear more of that as the season progresses, getting under the skin of the opposition players and managers just like his namesake in SKD
Arrested development
On Saturday Craig Davies came up against Bruno Manga, who Cardiff bought for 5 million. Today he was mainly up against Leon Barnett, a 2 million buy from Norwich. Both were outplayed by Craig, a 375k buy from barnsley. May turn out a bargain. RoadRunnerFan
Managers moaning that a Bolton centre forward called Davies bullied his centres halves, Dids creaming over Lee, all feels quite familiar if a little distant. BOLTON ARE BACK, BOLTON ARE BACK, ELLO ELLO!

Leyther_Matt
Fella who gave away the penalty, didn't he also give away the free kick immediately before it? Actually thought we missed Pratley first half as their full backs were being allowed to push forward too much, but Clayton has got quality stamped all over him. Moderators Casino Posted November 7, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 7, 2014 pratley was banned, apparently great performance for parts of that game we really could be on the verge of something amazing a snowball rolling down a very big hill im doing no negatives tonight so i wont mention our makeshift rightback
ChippyTea
Had a ticket for tonight but got stuck in Sheffield working. Mate of mine went and said we were excellent. Think this could be the start of very exciting times under Lennon

In fairness to Vela, he won't come up against many better than McManaman in this league.

Site Supporter desperado Posted November 8, 2014 Site Supporter Share Posted November 8, 2014 Like the interview with Mills and Clayton. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11672/9554954/uwe-rosler-blasts-unforgivable-wigan-performance-after-defeat-at-bolton Mills not telling the guy what Lennon said at half time. Smiley
Atmosphere was superb tonight. Stood all the way through the match. Enjoyed a good singalong. Fans with smiles on their faces. Many waited until virtually all of our players had come over to receive a very justified round of applause at the end. The players were lapping it up. Feels so much better than being booed off. The feel good factor has returned on the pitch and in the stands equally. Really hope the club pushes for big ticket sales for the next home games. Really do think the team & support can bounce off each other. Feeling loved up with my team again.
Rembrandt
By the way - I liked the reference earlier this week (Bolton News ?) to tonight's match being ........... t'Classico. Made me laugh anyway. Like Atherton's Flat-Cap Derby.
Juan.Kerr
That was great again tonight. Chungy is fast becoming player of the season. The previous two tossers could only get less than an hour out of him,and we now are getting 90 odd minutes, match after match and some great performances. NLSWfA.
