  • I'm not worried about incurring anybodys wrath, I'm with Oggy. Let's get back to knocking opponents about a bit. Let them know where they've been. Like we used to, and happy fucking days they were too

Let's give it a week or 2 and see how he does in training- a short term deal til the end of the season may be useful for us. Lenny isn't going to sign him just cos they're mates.

I don't see the issue. We're having a look at him first. Any signing would be a short term basis. I'm assuming that it is a balancing act between a Heskey and a potential loan deal in January. Assuming that there isn't any money for permanent deals. So it is a question of whether Heskey is better than possible loan deals. And Lennon knows what he's doing so I will let him get on with it and make that call.

People saying they don't see what Heskey will add but how many players with his track record and experience are floating about at the bottom end of the championship? Some people act as though we are a top half premiership club with millions to spend still.

We sponsored Ian Marshall that season - top bloke!!

Even if Eidur & Heskey are just around for a bit of time on the training pitch it can only be good for the others to watch & pick up a few tricks of the trade from a couple of good pros who have played at the top level.

Eidur aye he can be a role model, Heskey meh.

Craig Davies could learn from him..fwiw there were quite a few Bolton fans who didn't rate Nathan Blake either & he was head & shoulders above anything we've got now. Personally I feel if a player has won 60 England caps, won trophies & is highly rated by the people he has played with then he must have something about him.

Having the names Heskey and Gudjohsen on the bench sounds good to me. 2 entirely different attacking options like that can only be a good thing.

Beckfords gone masons going so we need cover and risk free cover getting blokes who played at the highest level and he knows well seems ok to me it's a bit short term but we need short term success for now and he's still on task with the likes of vela and Clayton in the team

Goin back to Cardiff in jan isn't he?

yeah, i read that but if you read the rules, players on long term loans cant return to their parent club

if i read it reet

Mason and McNaugton are season long loans, Don't know how that stand's

Is he still training with Wanderer's?

My eldest has had nickname of Emile or Heskey due to similarity of surname and his style of play (Fortunately this is as a prop forward in Union) and would be funny to try and get picture of them together when we are up for Xmas. Where do they train being next question?

Think I'm safe Nixon reports Heskey looked a tad unfit and not the answer.

Mason out for 2 months being reported. Hamstring tear in training

That's being reported so that no other club comes in for him.

Heskey to play some part in a match in the next month.
