Not for me. Him and Lee together in centre midfield when fit looked the best partnership in the division. Now, without Davies and with Lee today (albeit a bit forced) out of position it looked a bit Freedman-ish. But I know we were under adverse circumstances today in terms of personnel and formation so Ill let it go and am very happy indeed with a point.

 

So happy to see Eidur come on though. A dream come true in many ways.

Shouldn't have gone back on! How many times have we seen that now where a player plays on with a knee injury and then comes off 5 minutes later and is out for the next 6-9 months?

 

I realise the player has probably got a big say in it but surely with how fragile knees are it should just be a case of get them off immediately. We might have missed him for 60 mins of 1 game but that could have saved him 6 months on the sideline if the real damage was done by playing on.

 

On the actual game I went with an Ipswich fan, both agreed before the game that a point would be a good result for both, he came away disappointed because they definitely were the better team in the 2nd half. Who's this new keeper we've got by the way because fuck all gets past him anymore!

 

As others have said with the injuries we've got and with Ipswich flying (lost 1 in 17) I'm more than happy with the point, another clean sheet and carrying on out unbeaten run.

 

Oh and the reception Eidur got firstly when he warmed up down the sideline and then when he finally came on was unreal, best part of the day.

Spearing just doesn't look before he passes. At times he was Ipswich's most dangerous player. Too many unforced errors which put us under needless pressure.
