He's 19 and has about 8 games of league football behind him. For most of the game today he was playing on his own up front against one of the best sides in this league with no service. How on earth that can lead to such criticism is beyond me.

 

He obviously isn't ready for this level of football but it isn't his fault that we only have one senior striker at the club right now who isn't fit and he's had to be thrown in,

 

If we are being honest he was no less effective and worked a lot harder than Beckford did in most of his appearances for us.

Ream did a decent job getting forward but Danns might as well have been sat at home and Spearing's pass completion must have been about 30%.

 

Eidur was a definite positive, his touch is unreal. Couple of cracking saves from Lonergan as well.
