Been loads of times, but I don't mind Arab type destinations.

Basically it's sunny, short haul and dirt cheap.

Good food and nice enough beaches.

Just don't eat the food or touch the money

And if you're that way inclined the UN heritage site at Carthage is excellent as is the Roman ampitheatre at El Jem or you can go and see the caves where Star Wars was filmed.

The wife and I brought Cryptosporidium back from Tunisia when we went. I'll as fuck we were......but we did eat quite a lot of the local food.

Thoughts on Tunisia anyone? Looking at a week or so away at the end of September for the mrs' birthday and it seems to be miles cheaper than the Canaries and the like. Just want a cheap and cheerful all inclusive.

 

I didn't mind it, went Port El Kantaoui was cheap and as said El Jem was good, but we won't go back the Misses got sick final few days, ended up getting

some money back off Thomson as she wasn't the only one. One guy getting on the coach home was white as a ghost and looked like he was about to shit himself at any moment

Just booked flights to Alicante, am off to Algorfa again, cheap cheerful and quiet for the family, wanting to have a break to Berlin too, at some point,

Managed to get to Glenelg, Victor Harbour and Henley P. Nice places. Missed the Jasmin though as we've only been here since Wednesday. . Off back to Melbourne today down the great ocean road. Stopping off in Kingston, Portland and Apollo Bay on the way.

It'll be warm, so you won't need to take your Gruffalo outfit, and you'll have to keep the fizzy bears in a cool bag or they'll melt, and that wouldn't be aaaaaawwwwwwrrrriiigggghhhhtt

if you like warm, generic & boring resorts which could be anywhere get gone. Also, there's a long haul holiday company flight in there too. I'm sure some folk might love it though.
