  • So they have £700 left to piss up the wall then.     As already said, food banks are by and large abused by those who don't really need them putting even further strain on those who actually need

Would it help if folk living in council houses with empty bedrooms moved into smaller properties? Has anyone thought of that?

It's them inbred yokels over the bridge.

Nouveau Horwich is where it's at. Gentrification of the old navvies neighbourhood.

Although seat wise Ukip won fuck all, people need to realise this isn't a few pissed up lads from the footy 4million votes is a good number

need a vary good leader now

and some decent candidates

and keep themselves in the news

other wise no one will remember them in 4 years time

I think resigning as leader immediately after defeat is weak. Unless your position becomes untenable with the party then why resign? Clegg, yes deffo, Miliband probably should have gone but Farage is baffling.

Other than the fact he lost his stab at a seat he's in a stronger position than yesterday. Around 4m folk voted for them for fucks sake, changing leader straight after defeat just loses some of that momentum.

couldn't agree more, think they have ear marked some woman to take over

That's sounds a bit like finishing third in the championship, ending up in the play offs and losing to the team in seventh

Then complaining the system isn't fair

It wouldn't be fair, as if you finished in 3rd and you got in the play offs rather than automatic, the lowest placed team tou could lose to would be 6th

Or were you saying that and I've just had a wooosh moment?

Hasn't he put himself back in the running?

The bloke is a narcissist; it's my bet he wants them all to clamour for his return and he will act coy about it.

To be fair to the guy he is very ill. 4 years ago he was recovering from a air crash and suffers from chronic pain. He is an easy target to ridicule but many a commentator reckon he is the best statesman of the lot of the current leaders and if he had been at the front of labour they would not have been in the mess they are in now.

ps he said he would resign and did!

resign, incase that's what people want..

run again... get selected to run the party.. no insider politics..

UKIP need to keep the momentum going, as stated 4m people back them.. cant all be "orrid racists"

Farage had said during the campaign that he would resign as leader if he wasn't elected.

He gets brownie points for being as good as his word but I wouldn't be surprised if he puts himself forward for leader again when it comes to the contest.

I like Farage even though his party has a whiff of nonsense about it.

How he survived that plane crash God only knows, it doesn't seem possible.

He's done a brilliant job no matter what your opinion of him.

However, the next PM will be Boris, and I'm not quite sure what to make of that.

Boris is just fodder for the tabloids.

Cant argue with any of that. Boris would be interesting.

Whilst I think Osbourne is doing a steady job, I can't help but think he's hiding summert.

His eyes are shifty as fuck ALL the time.

It could just be the mountain of bing he's getting through, like.

He has already suggested as much, he will be back as leader, they'd be mad to appoint anyone else given his profile

Haha I doubt it but as much as he's a bit of a crackpot the city like him and if we fare well economically in the next five years he will be in pole position IMO

Cameron has already suggested he won't be standing again for PM

Won't be Johnson that much I'm sure of
