April 13, 201511 yr Not as bizarre as thinking that Sky invented football. Who thinks that? Where you are now is what matters. Where you were in 1950 is broadly irrelevant. Liverpool were the best team in England for a decade but now they're not. And haven't been for a long time. Does that mean they are entitled to be above Chelsea or be regarded in any better a light than Chelsea currently? Of course not. Trying to claim we're massive because we were good decades ago is small time behaviour. Trying to claim we're "better" than other clubs in the same division because we were higher than them in the past is equally pathetic. Sort of thing I'd imagine Liverpool and Man Utd fans doing and us laughing at them for it. Edited April 13, 201511 yr by bwfcfan5
April 13, 201511 yr We shouldn't consider Wigan as rivals solely because they desperately want to foster a rivalry - and since when did c*nts (us) go about making the wishes of other sets of support come true? Since never... They're an irrelevance and no amount of town hall steps photos, grass verge pissings or draping rags on Nat will convince otherwise.
April 13, 201511 yr Which is probably what Man U think about us. I don't see what the problem is in having a rivalry with Wigan seen as we've been in the same division as them for the best part of a decade. We've still got one with Tranmere and they make Wigan look like Real Madrid. You might have a rivalry with Tranmere in your mind, i've not. I couldn't name one Tranmere player or even their manager, they mean nothing. And yeah i saw them beat us at Wembley when we were shit.
April 13, 201511 yr You could argue a team that's come from nothing has more history than a team that's always been at the top, look at Fleetwood. Just play devils advocate.

Either that or you are a much more forgiving person. Having said that not sure we are 'rivals' in the strictest sense but I do detest the plastic scouse skiprats more than most.So much so it would be a toss up over which would make me happier, Wigan going down or them going to non league and hopefully never coming back.
April 13, 201511 yr The turd could be clinging on... Rotherham charged with fielding an ineligible player in a game they won - could be deducted points

Tranmere are a small Merseyside club with a shite history, shite present and a history of employing cunts. They had cunts on their payroll in the 87/88 season. They got a match postponed against us when they had a long injury list by refusing to pay the police bill, Aldridge was another cunt on their payroll a few years later. But at the end of the day they are a small Merseyside club who aren't even local never mind a serious rival. If we want to look 35 miles for a rival we have more in common with Everton than Tranmere. Fwiw id rather Tranmere go down than Wigan of the two.Tranmere fans wanting to be our rivals annoys me more than Wigan fans.At least the pie eaters are local.
April 13, 201511 yr Fucking hell, they'll lose three points for that. FFS. Blackpool only got fined £30k for playing an ineligible player earlier in the season though... But will the fact Rotherham won with this fella on the field and Blackpool still lost with their ineligible player make a difference? Come on, do the right thing and give Rotherham a little fine, dont fucking dock them points. Edited April 13, 201511 yr by Naytch
April 13, 201511 yr Read that his loan expire the day before the game. Detby had agreed to extend but paperwork not completed.

Not as pathetic as supporting a team and dismissing it's history as 'broadly irrelevant'.
April 13, 201511 yr Yes. Happy to help. I'm afraid it's only one way then. I couldn't even tell you what division they're in.
April 13, 201511 yr I'm afraid it's only one way then. I couldn't even tell you what division they're in. I think you'll find there are plenty of Bolton who hate the cunts. They're second bottom in League 2 and about to go out of the League. And I'll still hate them when they do.

That's not really the same thing as having a rivalry with them though. We'd have to play them occasionally for a start.
April 13, 201511 yr I would puke my balls up if those shit heads stay up on a Rotheram points deduction ???? Let's just hope it's a fine and Rotheram also beat Fulham on Wednesday.
April 13, 201511 yr Not as pathetic as supporting a team and dismissing it's history as 'broadly irrelevant'. Irrelevant to where you are now, who supposedly matters and who doesn't and who is a rival now.
April 13, 201511 yr From previous cases it seems you lose the points you gained in any match an ineligible player played in so that means Rotherham will have 3 pts deducted. The turds not flushing.
April 13, 201511 yr That's not really the same thing as having a rivalry with them though. We'd have to play them occasionally for a start. Righto - thanks for that.
April 13, 201511 yr Try & look on the bright side......if Rotherham get points deducted, it may let Millwall escape rather than Wiggin. Tomorrow's game between Millwall & Wiggin could be crucial.
April 13, 201511 yr they still need to make up the deficit... next couple of days will be crucial. but fcuk em anyway
April 13, 201511 yr Irrelevant to where you are now, who supposedly matters and who doesn't and who is a rival now. There's nothing irrelevant about it. Blackburn fans would never miss an opportunity to wind Burnley up about their league title win if Burnley hadn't also once won it.
