Durham are in the Northern League Division 1. How could they possibly relegate Wigan?!?

Could be Judith Durham.    https://youtu.be/z4ZipKdI1sY

In light of Wigan's relegation, chairman David Sharpe has issued a short statement.   "Do you want salt & vinegar love?"

  • More managers than home wins.

  • Its a chinese buffet with music after from Half a shilling..

Danny Kelly said the same thing on his show last night. Somebody at Talksport obviously hasn't been paying attention.

Even more baffling was that Wigan's manager seemed to think that they just needed to win at Brentford to give themselves a chance of staying up. I don't think he realized that Rotherham could relegate them before Saturday.

I think it is fair for him to say they need to win on Saturday, as that is the minimum requirement for staying up, and the only part that they can achieve for themselves. Of course if they are doomed before then, there is nothing Wigan can do about it.

I hope Rotherham get beat midweek and it's in Wigan's own hands, only to be cruelly snatched away in the 96th minute.

That would be just to much to bear I want them down Tuesday.

I share your sadist optimism

That would be absolutely spiffing.

Wigan winning at Brentford, then finding out that Rotherham didn't play an illegal player after all.

Wigan will not win at Brentford.

Relax.

Here's the fat lass!

Sing baby, sing!

With Dave Whelan breaking his leg after the game.

Come on Rotherham, get it sorted Tuesday and let the celebrations begin (Tranmere and Wigan relegations)

Had a wigan fan say to the other day...."can't believe we are going to be in the division below Bolton and maybe Preston"

So fuck em and come on Rotherham... That will be a better way next season if it's kept to a Saturday

It's where they've always resided until snapped leg got involved !!!

marc antoine fortune to score a last minute winner at brentford to keep them up, yhihf

She's not actually singing yet, but she's certainly clearing her throat.

It's one of those turds that you flush and it doesn't quite get round the u bend. One more flush and it's on its way. Tuesday night is that one more flush. Goodbye wigan goodbye! We'll see you again we don't know when goodbye wigan goodbye!!

Rotherham v Reading is the commentary match on BBC Radio 5Live Sports Extra. (or channel 706 on Freeview).

I'd rather watch golf on teletext.

I'd rather listen to Whelan going on about how he broke his leg.

When did he break his leg?

Somewhere in North London I think.

Sometimes before he joined Kick it out
