Happen the French should address the shithole no-go areas most of their big cities have, places that make owt we have to offer in a similar vein look like Sesame Street.

 

I'd venture most of these women are pushing the envelope with their own personal freedoms, it probably pisses off their oppressors no end they're getting out and about and visiting the beach - whilst sticking to the outmoded rules of their society on technicalities ...Emancipation, contrary to popular belief, mostly comes in baby steps.

I find hypocritical that the protesters against this say women are being repressed and should be allowed to wear what they want when it's their thick as pig shit religion that's oppressing them to dress that way in the first place.

 

If the law says no religious artefacts on display then that's the fucking law. Same way you can't go wandering down the prom in Dubai holding hands with your boyfriend in only your best pair of Union Jack hot pants.

Morocco imposed it a couple of years back in certain parts of the country but it wasn't really given much press at the time. It seems the press only highlight matters when us Honky's impose bans.
