There's a fella, big unit, and not a young bloke either, who used to sup in the pub near me, probably still does, I don't go in anymore, thus it'll probably be a Madrassa soon...Anyhow, he'd be sat there at the end of the bar and would get in about six, seven or even eight pints of lager on the bell - he'd f*cking sup them all too, and within about the half hour or so drinking up time - I was slightly in awe of him, which at that time was a bit like Tiger Woods complimenting another golf swing.

There's the usual cup dilemma of whether to stick with Saturday's team to build confidence & momentum with a win, & let the new defence get to know each other,...but risk injuries with plenty league games coming up

or

give squad players some more game time ( Heskey, Dobbie ?? ) & give one or two youngsters some first team experience ( Kellett, Taylor or Finney, Woolery,?? ) keeping the first choice on the bench for if it's all going horribly wrong.....Burton won't be pushovers.

 

With Spearing & Pratley missing, there'll have to be at least 2 changes whatever.

It would seem not.

The BBCroundup feed mentioned this. I then went to the match feed to check it and there was no mention.

 

 

Edit, they've now updated it to say Bolton have hit the woodwork 3 times - is Iles doing the updates?
