gonzo Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Think you might have got the wrong end of the stick slightly Chief W. I went home last night(staying over for Preston away was what I was on about). I left home just before 7am yesterday and I was meant to get back to Reading for 11pm too catch the last bus but thanks to Cross Country trains I got back to Reading at 2am and had to pay £20 for a cab. So hence the rant, I have had enough of paying stupid money, travelling 100s of miles to watch a crap football team managed by an incompetent twat. Fuck off then you soft arsed cunt. Go and pretend to be a Hoolie whopper at reading. Quote

I was truly not arsed about going yesterday but I did because it was no real mither, no way would I have gone from Reading. In answer to others who may or may not have been being ironic, yes it is what supporting your team is all about, but as most people in Bolton who claim to support Bolton don't actually go I'm giving Dan a bit of a pat on the back here Quote
jules_darby Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Massive Superfan points for the trip Massive twatty points for the outburst like a spoilt brat Quote
chief wiggum Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Not arguing with that, but there's plenty of twatty outbursts on here from folk who never go ever. I was trying to contextualise ( if that's even a word) ! Quote
Dunnoy'know Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 At the moment, relegation seems certain. No goals, no defence, no leader. No sign of the much needed goal getter. Manager looks fed up. Players don't seem interested. Booing is creeping back from the moronic fans Sad state we've become Quote

You think the manager is "incompetent" - what exactly is he doing wrong? Could you explain, please, what mistakes Lennon is making, and how a different manager would avoid them? Withou granting the new manager magic powers, which is what most of you "special" folk do... Quote

We have fuck all money, so whatever he signs has to add something, he signed 2 centre halves in the summer, one played right back on Saturday the other was on the bench. Also on Saturday he set the team up well, when spearing got injured he had the option to bring Vela on to do the same, instead he moved the midfield round to get mavies on the pitch, we were never in the game from that point. He keeps using Heskey, Saturday again he bought him on as a sub and gave Burnley the midfield to have as their own. I do not want Lennon out, but the idea he is immune from criticism or mistakes is just not true. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture (I know thats difficult when your losing regularly) yesterday I genuinely felt there wasnt much between the teams. I felt the performance was decent, we have players still bedding in, Casado, Wheater & Pratley (back from long term injury) Spearing coming back in from long term substitute service. I also think Lennon still searching for his best 11 some of that due to players being injured, yes we need a goal scorer but I do believe we have enough within the squad to pull out of this trouble, we need to start moving upwards soon and like Lennon I believe we can. Look, it's shit at the minute, even the most white-tinted fans get this. But it's not terminal, yet. Binning off Lennon surely isn't the answer, and in the cold light of day were we that bad yesterday? Disappointing, depressing and fucking frustrating yes, away days are grim at the moment, but let's get a bit of a grip. I'm worried, but not panicking yet, let's see how we do against Birmingham and Leeds and see where we are then Quote

And wondering how we'll get another manager who won't make any mistakes. Quote
bgoefc Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Many of my Burnley mates I met in the pub last night reckoned it was quite an even game. They said they thought we were better than a few other sides they have played. Quote

whiteboy Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Let's see where we are after the next 4-5 games. Losing at Burnley wouldn't be such a problem if we hadn't tossed the point(s) away at MK & QPR. Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I'm not our chairman's biggest fan, but if the money simply wasn't there, it wasn't there You can't always choose the time when the right player becomes available sometimes you have to bite the bullet and have a vision, I don't really believe that the money couldn't have been found even if it was with a view to sacrificing a player or 2 elsewhere further down the line, unfortunately the current owner, chairman and whoever is bumming round the boardroom don't have any vision for the club, hence were on our arse bottom of the table, with no direction and can't even attract loanees. I hope ED loses whatever equity is left in the club he deserves fuck all. Quote
