The thing that will save him is that sacking him would uttey moronic. I know that there are a few naive folk - shall we call them "special" - who believe that there is a manager out there with magic p

Spearing looked like a good player, breaking things up and then pushing us toward.

Fell apart when he got injured. Not sure why he has not been able to get a game for months under Lennon.

I watched the whole game sober.

We are fucking horseshit. Its donny and scunny nxt yr

We looked ok for the first 60 minutes until they scored but we never looked liked scorning. Spearing going off injured after playing out of his skin is typical of our luck.ive seen enough now to make my mind up I think we're going down. Considering we're bottom of the league I think the support has been great other clubs would have have turned on the manager by now

We need more mentalists on the board at times like this

We were the better team until the first goal went in but didn't really look like scoring....maybe the difference was that we had a free transfer striker & that they had a £9m striker ! I thought that the the Heskey for Danns substitution  was a mistake & that after that, we looked more likely to concede another than to score.

On the plus side, Spearing was very good until his injury, Wheatert was m-o-m & this was nowhere near as depressing as the Huddersfield defeat.

we'll stay up

we'll stay up

i Hope your right and I'm wrong but we look shit. Wheater looked class today but the rest was poor I pray I'm wrong

Thought we played 4 5 1. ?

Best team till spearing went off.

I know at 2 0 comeback is unlikely but bringing heskey on means we are short in midfield and look more likely to concede hundreds.

You thought wrong.

Watch the game. Not the supposed formation

We're shit

And until be gets his arse out of his arsehole we'll continue to be shit

We are only a good striker off being a top team ????

To be fair mate, if we'd have put a couple in when we were on top, then the rest of the game would have been completely different.

And scoring breeds confidence.

Didn't go to the game so can't make judgement on this particular performance, but away at Burnley was always going to be tough.

Our home form is going to determine whether we will be in a relegation battle. Massive games coming up against Brum and Leeds. Tough games but we need to win at least one of those. It would be nice to head to Preston with a bit of confidence.

Have only just got in.  :db:

Has anybody mentioned the second goal yet? Im not going to say his name, but this kid is playing for himself.

Andre Gray was a class act. He'll go to the prem. It makes me think, what would have happend if we got rid of Coyle when we were relegated and invested in a decent player like Burnley have. Different ball-game these days but Burnley have got it right.

Very small toilets, shit hole, but a good atmosphere. One goal would have been nice.

I'm not buying this spearing running the first half game either, the whole team worked as a unit, I'd even say Pratley was the one driving it on.

Who is playing for themself?

Sadly, some would have you believe that

I was at the game.

Italian wheater devrite and big hair at the back

Silva feeney the wide players

Pratley, spearing and Danns central

Madine up front.

I an see people are going it was 4 3 3 , but people were saying we played three at the back but we did not.

you can buy it or not but Burnley were hardly in the game before spearing went off. He protected the back four , Danns and Pratley also played well but for me Spearing was the difference. Surprised when he got injured that Vela did not step in as more of a like for like swap.

Greys pace showed up devrite.

Totally agree on Silva, although he did look dangerous at times, how there was no booking for the foul in first half I will never know, he also was trying to buy fouls which have influenced the ref who I do think missed a few later on, his head had totally gone at the end,

Just seen a tweet to Iles saying:

Neil Warnock managing us would have us in the top six

My worry is that the decks haven't been fully cleared and we've just no proper team club culture building and it will need a drop to league one to do it like Southampton wolves Leicester and dare I say it Wigan at the minute we're just patching up as best we can week in week out its wank and fucking me off now

Des have a money tree in his garden?

Anyway, we all know the formation and selection is Gartside's fault. Get rid of him and we'll be runaway winners of this division. We might get extra points given to us for style too.

It didn't the last away game. We went 2-0 up at QPR but caved in and got beat.

Perhaps he's just a better manager than Lennon? Football isn't all about who spends the most money. If it was there was no way Bolton would have finished higher in the league than Tottenham, Manchester City and Newcastle under the great Sam Allardyce

Going down could finish us off completely. We barely get 10k supporters through the door as it stands.

The asset strippers would be in before I got off Scott's car park.

The 3 clubs had a fan base who stuck by them when they got relegated we haven't got that luxury, Wigan haven't achieved anything yet and I hope they never do.
