Was ok until Spearing went off, after that it was only going to end badly. Last time I saw us win away was Lennons first game at Birmingham, think I've been to about 12 since and we've picked up 4 points ( Wigan, Blackpool, Brentford last season and Blackburn this) and it's getting a bit fucking tedious. I'm usually glass half full but I'm officially worried now Quote

Spearing was having a great game, hope the injury isn't too bad but looking at him on the stretcher makes me fear the worst.  Marines desire to get in there when a good cross comes in is lacking for me. Ultimately though, you reap what you sow - I think I'm right in saying we had 8 freebies and a loan starting - they won with a £9m man scoring twice. marple whites Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 For me, we were superb until spearing went off. Majority of the game until that a point was played in their half and we caused problems. We were then fortunate to get to half time. Second half the game was opposite, although even late on we had chances, cleared off the line and heskey header. How madine stayed on is beyond me, he jumps for balls he is never going to get and throws his arms in the air, goal machine my arse. Â Come away again scratching my head as to how we lost a game that we were well in control of, against to be fair an average team. Although having a striker that can score in this league is the difference. Â We need at least 4 out of the next 2 games.... Quote
