We need a big in in there who is good on the ball

They are fucking expensive though and we all ready have 456 central midfielders so difficult to warrant any more of the limited budget spent there

A decent striker too

Be fine when this war chest lands

There's no imminent war chest nor striker. They 're just rumours to distract the fans from the reality.

Been to game, just arrived in Manchester. Agree with some comments above, Spearing going off made a big difference, players aren't good enough despite no lack of effort, it isn't a tactical/managerial problem, it's frustrsting as hell but we are in a bad place, we may go down, we may just stay up. Fans were great today, in order to just stay up we need continue to get behind them, strangely looking forward to PNE. COYFWM

There isn't going to be any investment. There - I've said it.

No there isn't. Gartside will keep trousering his massive wage though taking us on the road to nowhere. Is he worth it (and not just because Eddie says so)

There- I've said it.

some great away days

I know, Potentially Bury, Wigan, Rochdale, Fleetwood, Oldham, Blackpool & Crewe and that's just the North West. Maybe this is Gartside's & Eddies plan afterall!

The Netional League (ex Conference) has some good trips too.

Very frustrating. Don't think we are too bad but Wellington away from home is a liability. Spearing was having a great game, hope the injury isn't too bad but looking at him on the stretcher makes me fear the worst.

Marines desire to get in there when a good cross comes in is lacking for me. Ultimately though, you reap what you sow - I think I'm right in saying we had 8 freebies and a loan starting - they won with a £9m man scoring twice. We are paupers and we need to get used to it.

Let's not kid ourselves the bookies are right we are going down! I really can't see Lennon sorting this mess out our away form is awful and 3-5-2 againFFS. Losing faith in him but what is the alternative!

Thought we played 4 5 1. ?

Best team till spearing went off.

I know at 2 0 comeback is unlikely but bringing heskey on means we are short in midfield and look more likely to concede hundreds.

Don't think we can afford to play Heskey and Madine at the same time. Lennon should have taken Madine off if he wanted to bring Heskey on, suprised Clayton didn't come on as well. After Danns and Spearing were off the pitch we were wide open. Edited by Mounts Kipper

I went today ,not happy at all ,Been through all this before in the 1980s    when we went down to the old division 4 lookes like we are going down

again but i hope not because our ground would be a graveyard in the lower divisions at burnden we could create an atmosphere but not anymore

And just fell out with her not a good day
