They are not good news. They tend to be asset strippers sent in to scavenge a business.

 

My experience of them is that they use the wrong people for the job, and certainly do not suit a football club that's in the shit with virtually no prospect of making a profit within the next 10 years.

 

Smacks of desperation.

Think Deano must be the figurehead of the consortium can't believe he had the money to own the club outright! Interesting to see what he does about NL he's been to several games and seen what we have had to watch can't see him being overly impressed with NL!

I can only think of 2 things...

 

1) they fancy their chances of getting us in the Premiership and cashing in on the TV money - however were a million miles away from that on the pitch and even if we did do it in the next 5 years ED would get the TV money???

 

2) sell off the ground, lostock, car parks, Clough etc for a decent short term profit

 

Looking more like option 2 to me
