December 6, 20169 yr Chris P sounds like a permaholidaying pisspot's type of name. Change the "P" for a "W" and then we're talking
December 6, 20169 yr Did they go through and ID everyone? Also, plenty of people were interested during the inception now wouldn't touch the thing with a bargepole. Josh8 can't hide behind his username, anything he posts is now linked to the BWFCST. That's the shame lots of folk interested but didn't get involved (me included couldn't give it the time) it's then left to a small band of folk who seem to be getting up folks noses, it needed a wider spread of well qualified folk on the board unless that happens think a great opportunity has been missed. December 6, 20169 yr Ken's Q&A that had to be postponed, is now next Tuesday Good news let's hope some decent questions from the audience instead of the usual bollocks. I wonder if the S.T. been informed. Edited December 6, 20169 yr by Mounts Kipper
December 6, 20169 yr Good news let's hope some decent questions from the audience instead of the usual bollocks. I wonder if the S.T. been informed. Yes, I told them at our weekly board meeting.
December 6, 20169 yr Is this the Q&A meeting that was cancelled whilst the future of the football club was being decided? I reckon the last thing on kens mind that day was sitting with a couple of travel club gimps answering questions about how much money they have or don't have.
December 6, 20169 yr for me, I do think the points raised by the ST / LOV are valid ones, or certainly things we should probably be concerned about given our recent plight and you can't just ignore what's going on off the field just because we're doing well on it or because it's £5 V Gillingham PG and ED got on with running us to the brink but it was only when we went shit that our concerns were raised / shit got real no doubt if we were bottom 4 there'd be a bit more clamor for certainty / clairty as Gonzo said though, these questions could be asked at any club, and you're never likely to get a straight answer, plenty fans will not like how their club is being run but it's naive to think KA is doing either a great job or one that is in our best interests as opposed to his, until any time we see the bigger picture, which we may not, or it may be too late, or it may all be great when he cashes in when we're back in the PL I'm happy enough to live in ignorance whilst we're doing well, but wouldn't surprise me if KA fucks us over in some way, and still remain suspicious of him there's nowt i or the st can probably do about it, but they're the ones who look like twats for asking
December 6, 20169 yr wouldn't surprise me if KA fucks us over in some way, and still remain suspicious of him We all know that he's here to make money, hopefully he will....and a lot of it, as that would mean that we've had some level of success. So far, things do seem to be going in the right direction. I guess we will find out a lot more as and when a set of accounts are published. The very fact that we are in the position that we are currently in, is incredible really, considering the fiscal meltdown we had a few months ago (and are no doubt still feeling the affects of) - come the end of this season, there is no way that KA is going to be "up on the deal" even if we do get promoted, so there is still much work to do. It'll be interesting to see how KA will be viewed if we are forced to sell Clough in January (we should have got more for him, we shouldn't be selling our best players etc...)
December 6, 20169 yr I'm in no doubt that Ken's aim is to get us towards the top end of the Championship and sell us on. Given where we were when he arrived (being wound up in high court), I'd take that as a fucking right result.
December 6, 20169 yr We all know that he's here to make money, hopefully he will....and a lot of it, as that would mean that we've had some level of success. aye, and without knowing how it all works, does he have a contingency for if it doesn't work out that way - or will he just be out the door, leaving us to the go bust / out of business / admin - i.e. is he invested in our future or gambling with it
December 6, 20169 yr aye, and without knowing how it all works, does he have a contingency for if it doesn't work out that way - or will he just be out the door, leaving us to the go bust / out of business / admin - i.e. is he invested in our future or gambling with it I too see him as nothing more than a bloke looking to take a bit of a risk to make some money. So long as we're managed well that's not a problem. I am concerned as to why these issues have arisen but hopefully some info will be disclosed next week.

December 6, 20169 yr My gran, god bless her soul, always told me that it wasn't what you said, it was how you said it and the ST's tone is cuntish.
