Eddie has had some abuse these past few weeks, a lot of it unwarranted by idiots.

  • So a bloke who gave us £150million is asking that his contribution be remembered by naming a room after him. Not a stand or the entire stadium. A room.   He's also asking that instead of getting his

Though you're far away, I am here to stay.

I emailed them in september and im still waiting for a reply.

They've got you on ignore :-)

Not a lot to argue with but two key points, imo

He claims we are relatively debt free

Relative to 170 million, aye, but estimates put current debt at 30 million

And 2, so far as we are aware, the white Knight, DH, invested nowt and when the time came to do so, he had empty pockets

Which is why I, for one, back KA

Whatever DH invested, the fact is without his efforts KA wouldn't have been around. Got to give him credit for that.

Just want it all finalised now- especially going into a busy Christmas period.

He didn't invest anything.

So what if he didn't. Still got a club to go to and I'm thankful for that.

Nolan and Reid. Crikey.

Agreed. I think everyone was needed to get us here today. I think without deano we would of been wound up

Polarised yes thanks dean for having the tenacity to see us saved but Nolan and Reid fuck me ????

More problems

See BN

id say that article is generally quite positive

its just the usual BN doom and gloom spin

That how I read it

KA is (I'm sure) a very shrewd business man. I find it hard to believe he didn't realise DH's stake in the club would be covered by a share charge. If you lend someone £5m to buy a stake in a club, then you're obviously going to want to take security over that interest. Seems to me it will just be another part of the ongoing discussions about how to refinance the club and get rid of blue marble.

It'll no doubt be sorted when Kia and that lovely Shania Twain invest.

you're a very bright young manc man so i'm further reassured :)

problem is that they report this, not really knowing wtf they are talking about which leads to predictable negative responses

you only need to look at the early comments under the article

The article in the BN states there are 2 offers on the table to fund club going forward, that sounds to me like investors rather than more loans, any how I hope it's not more loans.

It's getting so boring this take over shite now

im surprised this isnt clear enough for you

we have learned that two offers are currently on the table from organisations who have pre-approved the club’s funding requirements for the rest of the season

thats got LOAN LOAN LOAN all over it

Its difficult to believe sweaty Ken didn't know about the conditions of the loan from bluemarble .

He did. The problem arose when DH couldn't meet the requirements.

I'm not bothered if it is more loans....as long as it pays off the existing loan(s)....and as long as it's at a lower interest rate.......and as long as it's more manageable for the club to pay..............a lot of "ifs" in there I know  :|

I thought that's what it might be I hoped we had some outside investor/partner, Marc Iles theory is it's a bridging loan. My theory is it might be investor and all will be revealed when KA has DH shares safely tucked in his back pocket.

I'm very bothered turnovers about 5 million we're already losing money every month even if it's a restructured loan at lower rates how we ever going to pay it off?
