What I'd like them to do as intimated above, is get their act together, and put themselves in a genuine position to be ready to protect the club if it goes tits up.

The questions they pose are only those fans will be thinking; so you're right they probably don't need asking.

What I want to see is them drawing up a means by which they can fulfill their function if required.

 

Getting themselves in a more credible position to attract investors and professional people.

And before anyone says no one else is interested; it maybe some are wary of dealing with the current two as all is not well.

But after the near collapse of the club last year is it that bad that someone is asking wtf is going on at the club.

We had a business plan that lasted 12 months but that has gone out of the window.

It all seems at best a bit strange, we are in a position where results on the pitch are not the only thing that matter, Parky and the team are exceeding al our expectations so how shit would it be the see all that fucked up by financial problems ?

 

The ST come across as real pompous dicks, the line in the release that basically says 'we do not represent all the fans, just the ones that are as clever and caring as ourselves' sums their whole attitude and approach up. ....but the questions they are asking are not unreasonable, the way they are asked, the timing, their whole approach and generally sulking that despite saying they are not representative, is slightly embarrassing.

 

The ST do not seem to offer any alternative to current regime and their mock indignation that the debt we all know about is still there just adds to the feeling they are pointless, but can I am still uncomfortable with what is going on at the club it is pity the Bolton News show the journalistic drive of John Cravens Newsround.

Very much agree with this, the timing of the email was terrible and the tone of the statement is poor in parts and someone at the trust could do with a lesson in being less cuntish but the underlying questions really do need asking and if they are satisfactorily answered I'd like the ST to acknowledge this and offer the current owner their support.

Or.....'last year the league said they would be monitoring the club, given all the rumours in the press last week not sure what has happened. We met some people from the League when we set the ST up and we have asked them to give us an update. Will let you know how it goes, but at this point and hopefully in future nothing to worry about '

 

The big 3 problems I have with the ST are

 

1. They seemed far too keen on finding problems

2. They do not offer any alternative

3. Their communication is terrible

 

the irony is that we can outside the ST and slag them without knowing what is really going on and that might seem harsh, but it is exactly what they are doing to the club.

We didn't hear fuck all from the last regime and we all walked about with our head in the clouds.

 

I honestly don't know what people expect. I could understand the big drama if they'd have come in and sold Zach Clough and half the south stand to Normid but they haven't.

 

They've come in to a fucking car crash, paid a tax bill that wasn't theirs and tried to sort cash flow all whilst

Keeping hold of the bulk of our talent and appeasing the fans with cut price ticket deals and price freezes.

 

...as well as doing numerous interviews on GMR to explain the current situation.

 

They appointed a decent high profile manager for our standards and things are looking fine on the pitch.

 

I just don't get the need for any of this right here right now.
