Change Of Owner?

Featured Replies

I would say from a quick flick through their "statements" it's pretty obvious they are keen to be in the "I told you so" camp and undermine new owners

I guess we'll see in due course. If it does go tits up we'll see what they're really made of.

I understand and agree with concerns over their methods, but I can also understand their concerns about how the club seems to still be struggling- not so much the losing money situation (we knew that wasn't going to go overnight)- but the apparent difficulties between ka and dh and how its going to be resolved.

If ka does succeed then great; again we'll see how the st evolves. Or dies.

HTH

I'd say they're a bunch who are trying to undermine the current owners, not just so they can say " I told you so " but mostly because they are still desperate to achieve their dream of running the club.

To the ST whoppers, the best interests of the club come a long way behind their own self interest.

In one. Without it seems that dream coating them anymore than a tenner.

Is it possible senior figures from the ST were unable to attend Kens Q & A as they were meeting with the Football League on the same day?

Nope.

The text I received in the subject read:

"All questions have been before Ken for some time. We are not playing the game of public conflict. He went on record tonight as saying he would meet with us. It was his event and I emailed him a few days ago saying we had no desire to disrupt his chance to speak to the fans. We do not engage in bear baiting."

Nope.

Depends if they have a mandate for that

Could this be seen as a positive step for BWFC supporting tin foil hat wearers? ;)

Something in The Sun his morning about us selling the ground and hotel which would be very concerning if true. Can't think of many football clubs that have prospered after selling their grounds and renting them back - Coventry, Leeds etc.

Almost the worst thing that could happen to us, hopefully no truth in it.

Aye, it killed Stockport County

Not read that but it would be a huge concern

This is why it needs to be classified as a community asset stops it being sold

Can anybody scan the article or somehow stick it on here

Lee Anderson confirms it bollocks and says they will be announcing buying more assets back this week

Will anyone own up to buying The Sun?

I was under the impression that a condition of the takeover between ED and the EFL with the new owners was that the ground was protected, but they could sell other assets, but then again nothing would surprise me

That's not true, though, is it?
