Eddie has had some abuse these past few weeks, a lot of it unwarranted by idiots.

  • So a bloke who gave us £150million is asking that his contribution be remembered by naming a room after him. Not a stand or the entire stadium. A room.   He's also asking that instead of getting his

Kevin Davies has just been on the wireless. He reckons he's heard from inside the club that we could be in admin by the end of the week.

Kevin Bloody Davies.

Available to add to the misery and misinformation.

He can fuck right off.

I still can't see ED allowing administration. It seems all this has happened since PG was ill something isn't right !

Just wait administration will just be the last thing that actually happens after everyone saying 'that will never happen!'.

And as for Gartside, get real. This has been building for ages just as Gartside has been ill for ages. Trevor Birch taking over was the final admission he had failed and the shit was about to explode. He baled out to avoid the fall out or make room for Birch, doesn't matter damage done. Hope he still gets paid as long as possible though as he convalesces.

Rather coincidental, seriously ill chairman, seriously ill club.????

If Eddie Davies lets this club go into admin he's below Whelan in my favourite person list, that makes him an utter cunt.

What are the conditions?

Presumably the bidder has to prove that he has the funds to do a deal.

But that is just one condition, which is fairly basic.

Not a set of conditions.

Seems like we have bid a slam with a 10 high hand.

More to come after Everton match

Admin by the end of the week can't see how any deal is getting done in time to stop it

I'm assuming that because the players haven't been paid the Warburtons have already said they can't assist.

Dough!

Sorry couldn't resist

Would any points deduction start this or next season.

Just the usual mounts.

Quite a concerned and sympathetic piece. 7 years ago we were playing Madrid. "What on earth has happened to that famous old football club?" Etc

They are after callers for after footy.

i've just thrown my giant crumpets in the bin.

remember ,refusing to buy warbys bread in the 80's

I still refuse to buy it, mainly because it's doughy shite though, as opposed to anything BWFC related.

I think it's the most sold brand in the UK after coca cola is it not?

I thought Pepsi was the most sold brand?  Pepsi > Coke

did you know , warburtons are the biggest FMCG product after coke in the uk.

They still keep repeating the "£175million in debt" though. Hope someone phones up and corrects them...

Is it really, blimey.

I still don't like their bread, and I don't like crumpets either.

Still, if they're that massive, it would be great if they wanted to spunk a few hundred million pounds in our direction

The giant crumpet ad cost around £25 million.

I'm not saying that money should have come to us, but I am saying that it's a huge company that could support the local football team financially, even as a stop gap. They can support the Conservative Party, but they aren't willing to support the local team.

I'm glad I get my bread from local small bakers.

Do we technically not still have the £175M debt though, until were sold and then it gets written off, as opposed to it being written off already? - I don't know the answer by the way.

The Warbys seem to like the association with the club but have never put anything in, don't see why and of the Warbys need to be on the board or around the club if they won't put anything in financially. No doubt when the clubs into new ownership they will be sniffing around.

has he said this before, or are they just rewriting the same crap?

“I’m prepared to put some money into the consortium and [ex-Bolton striker] Dean Holdsworth is also prepared to put some money in,” said former world champion Khan.

“The consortium are holding talks and hopefully a deal can be done.

“The wage bill has come down and the club’s future could be bright if a deal can be done.”
