The Warbys seem to like the association with the club but have never put anything in, don't see why and of the Warbys need to be on the board or around the club if they won't put anything in financially. No doubt when the clubs into new ownership they will be sniffing around.

 

Well for one thing Brett is on the FA Council representing Lancashire FA. Given that Gartside's place representing the Premier League lapsed in 2012 that in itself makes him useful to BWFC. And as I have said before Brett is not the head honcho at Warby's and certainly couldn't spread their cash around to any significant extent.

On the Sports Shield website it has a spiel saying that they offer 'boutique investment opportunities by invitation only' which is ironic as the spiel is just above the 'contact us' button.

From what I have heard Deano will be the chairman and director of football with NL given time to turn it around being told Phil Brown will be brought in if NL fails.

I'd rather have a rich Arab but it's good news that hopefully we'll be put out of our misery soon and get an owner who will pay the wages.

I know a lot don't like Deano because he missed a good chance against Aston Villa but i thought he was a trier and I have great memories of his winners against Liverpool and Chelsea in a Bolton shirt.He also showed bravery and character by stepping up and scoring the first penalty in the shoot out against Aston Villa

If NL can't turn the results round i think Phil Brown would be a fine choice to start the rebuilding process in the 3rd tier next season.
