From what I gather most of these shootings aren't 'off the cuff' they are planned and prepared for. 'Falling Down' scenarios are less common I'd say?!

I'm not deluded. And I think they could get a gun. It would just be miles more difficult and most teenagers would go back to trying to break their wanking record as opposed to attempting to source firearms.

 

And if your point about knives and trucks were true then you'd expect to see it happening regularly in countries where guns aren't available. But we don't.

 

Additionally - if you denormalise gun culture then it would help rid the states of this insanity where SCHOOL SHOOTINGS are now the norm. Sorry for the caps but I still feel the need to highlight the fact that we're talking about children committing mass murder on other children.
