Like Trump said they would have to receive specialist training, of course there’s going to be many teachers that wouldn’t want to be armed, in that case they would probably use an armed guard (that’s if they’re going to go down that road)

However school shootings weren’t a regular occurnace over there, I bet there’s still shootings happening on a daily basis.....there’s to many weapons on the streets in the states both illegal and legal, if you can’t get them legal you can just pop over the border, that doesn’t happen in OZ

then take it from there - next step, over 25s/30s can have a hand pistol, but nothing automatic

 

the above restrictions may just prevent another kid going buying a gun then shooting up their school

 

if a kid really wants to, and gets a gun somewhere else, "fair enough", but I doubt many mental teens would have such easy access

 

such a move might have prevented this most recent shooting, if not many others, if it wasn't so fucking easy to get hold of one

Too far gone for an outright ban like in Australia was what I meant. That would be unworkable in the US.
