one of Trumps main aims of his election campaign was to prevent people coming from countries that are having ‘problems’ so to speak....obviously the shooting happened way after the election, he couldn’t have predicted this (though I reckon some people will still want to blame him for it)

 

From what we have seen on the news he’s now looking to put some restrictions in place

The restrictions comment about what has been on the news is in response to what Trump has said in relation to the shootings.

Then as much as guns, if not more, I'd be looking at the social state of the communities these are happening in and the backgrounds of these people.

 

I'm not sure how 'regular' they are but in a nation as big as the US given their policy on guns I'm amazed it doesn't happen more often.
