As I now have 'always being right' Fanny 5 on ignore, I take it he/she has not commented yet on the likelihood that the meeting is now likely to proceed and the leaders of N.Korea and S.Korea have agreed to meet on a regular basis?

 

Of course it would be a mistake to assume that it will or will not go ahead just yet. We are dealing with some massive ego's on both sides here. I won't make Fanny 5's mistake off going off too early.

 

Logic tells me that it is more likely to proceed than not. N.Korea needs to be reconnected to the world as it is failing and starving. The Don needs a major diplomatic coup on his resume and he will never be closer. S.Korea will prosper even more without a threat at its northern border.

To be fair Madthatter, I think it is the fact that he and his supporters attribute these events and good progress to 'The Trumps' involvement which is unlikely to be the case.

He is a wake up call for all of politics though and I think his time as president could shake things up for the better. Only problem is he is an utter dick.

So Trump finally imposes the long-mooted tarrifs on Steel and Aluminium on EU, Canada and Mexico. Surely this cannot be a good sign for favourable trade talks post Brexit? I trust those that wanted 4 more years of Trump riding roughshod over the world, creating mayhem and impacting on UK jobs are delighted with their new hero

This is actually one instance where standing on our own 2 feet simply won't work.
