Completely wrong. Looks like the Republicans will take the House meaning the speaker will be a Republican. Exit Pelosi as speaker and it's job done. Hopefully the obnoxious bitch fucks off completely after the inside job on her husband.

Much as I would have enjoyed the return of The Don solely for the schadenfreude involved in the anguish to some people I have an 'irrational hatred' of (according to some of the illuminati on here), a better bet for the Republicans to increase the apparent 50% of the country who back them would be to have De Santis (De Sanctimonious?) lead the fight. Trump endorsed candidates not doing as well as he would have liked may be a blessing in disguise.

Besides his stunning missus, this De Santis seems to have plenty going for him. His quote "Florida is where woke comes to die" will be the most memorable for me from these mid terms.

Clooney will obviously be 'upset' if and when the GOP take control of one (or still possibly both) of the houses. Not sure if it is possible to become even more of a lame duck than Biden already is but neutering the Democrats and all they want to push through will be a crushing blow to Nancy and her associates.

Plenty in play for a while yet.

Err... isn't Pelosi staying as Speaker?

As for 'inside job' on her husband, you must be off your rocker.

Oh and this a shocker of a result for the Reds, midterms are usually a bloodbath for the incumbent party.

She will only stay as speaker if they keep the house.

If you listen to everyone before the election using pervious mid-term result , they should have had an arse kicking (any where between a loss of 45 to 60 seats), but it seems that pissing off half the population (roe v wade) seems to have an effect , before the election every poll said it was the economy that was top priorities, exit polls turns out it was abortion, Also the youth have got involved and if and no one asked them , they are still phoning people , the youth of to day dont do phones so therefore dint get asked.

Trump was also hoping for a landside so he could put a spoke in the Jan 6 committee (not going to happen), try and stop the DOJ (not going to happen) , and the icing on the cake the AG of New York got in with a massive margin (New Yorkers really dont like him) so he cant stop that either ....  that s is why he's pissed the walls are closing in when he thought he was going to get some get out of jail cards

It turns out if you demonise the youth for being 'woke', they won't vote for you. Whoever could have guessed

also 2 year there will more to vote as at the other end , they will have passed there voting days

So it looks like she's out then I assume. Bolty, you've got your wish after all.

What is it about US politics, why are all the main players nearly a hundred years old?

This De Santis fella looks a lot younger but I don't know much about him, is he an abortion denying fucktard like most of them?

The lettuce that outlasted Truss is smarter than Trump to be fair.

So can any knacker run for President then? You don't have to be voted in as a senitor first but just have the backing of a party?

Our system is daft but that is mental. I honestly thought he had become senator of Florida before his presidential bid last time.

In many ways its a much fairer system.

The difference is, they don't have a head of state. It's also why France have a different but system but similar issues.

DeSantis does look to be a far better proposition than Trump - even a blind man can see that. I know you liked it, but I thought his whole "anti woke" speech was a bit over the top, but then I guess he's saying what they want to hear. I believe that if Trump wants to run off against him, he'll get obliterated. DeSantis is very polished and probably far more savvy politically.

And you're right, his Mrs is very tasty, she's no Angela Rayner though 😉

Generally agree and, as for your last sentence, thank fuck!

Becoming more and more obvious that Trump is a 'liability' for the Republicans now (being openly discussed now) so I think there's a big chance that De Santis will get his chance

Blah, blah..................simple question. Will the GOP control one house or both? Either way, it will have been a success.

Pelosi spayed the icing on the cake.

I imagine you as I've seen you, a slightly overweight retired bloke, bland as they come with a fixation on a long left behind youth and a country that doesn't exist anymore.

But with a very clean garage and drive, like those in Erinsbourgh.

“Out of date”

Mathematically correct but does whiff a little of desperation. One will do.

Do you think they'll pump up your leader for another tilt at the Presidency with whatever elephant juice type concoction they've been using to keep him upright? Leader of the free world? Putin hopes so.
