RIP lemmy absolute legend ????

Sad. First saw them in Buffallo in 1981. A mate of mine worked as a roadie for them.

RIP Lemmy.

RIP Lemmy. 1st watched him at the Bolton Palais with the Rocking Vicars.

RIP Lemmy

70 years old. RIP

Well he said he didn't wanna live forever

How he made it to 70 I'll never know

Loudest band I ever heard - BIT late 70s

Legend.  Won't be another like him.  RIP

I remember a journalist once asked him "Does it bother you that all these beautiful women only sleep with you because you're a rock star?" Lemmy just looked at him and laughed.

Saw them about ten years back at the apollo.

Amazing..

He only turned 70 a few days ago.

Good innings for someone with his lifestyle

Gutted.

He clearly had a good time, fair fucks for making 70. You only live once & who wants to go to heaven anyway.

the word legend is banded about far to often these days, but to me lemmy was a rock legend who lived the lifestyle to the extreme. r.i.p lemmy.

Lemmy..."why do I smoke and drink so much? Well, have you ever seen a smiling jogger?" Classic!

Saddened! One of my 70's idols. Seventy on xmas eve, diagnosed with cancer boxing day and died this morning playing his favourite video game. Died as he lived, in the fast lane. RIP.

Anybody who can carry this look off is a legend as far as I'm concerned

Not sure about the shorts, but whatever floats yer boat an' all that.

One that can rightly be called a legend.

First saw Motorhead at KGH Blackburn in 1980, mates girlfriend handed out cotton wool to Mrs Dee to put in her ears...probably the reason why I'm a bit mutt and jeff and Mrs Dee isn't. Saw them 5 years ago at Manc Apollo on the 35th Anniversary tour, quieter but still belted it out at 65.

Silver Machine was also permanently blasting out from my silver Viva HC in the 70's.

True character, warts and all.

Read his autobiography a few years back, worth a read.

To find out about your cancer then die two days later is staggeringly quick...an old colleague of mine complained of back ache just before Christmas a few years back and was diagnosed with cancer and passed away 4 weeks later...a beautiful soul taken too soon

my father was diagnosed Christmas and died at the beginning of April. It felt like longer at times but I do feel for those who suffer for years when they should still be having a full life.

My personal favourite.

One of the few times you and I will be on the same page but that is still one of my favourite songs and not just by Motorhead

So playing computer games is living the rock 'n roll life? Keith Richards will be spinning in his grave.
