March 9, 201610 yr At Leeds, Lennon didn't pick Madine and was calling him a cunt, prick etc before Heskey had to pull out. Then turned on Vela saying he was being a soft cunt and had seen him pull out of tackles. Vela questioned this, to which Lennons reply was, 'When all the shit was going on, you were the first to put a transfer request in you soft cunt.' Vela defended that by saying he has a family to support etc. Spearing was the one to calm the situation and told Lennon he can't talk to people like that. Similar situation happened last night with Woolery. He may have had the shits, but Lennon apparently went in ranting and raving and some of the senior players had to calm the situation again. I've not had a bad word against Lennon as I seriously think he's been conned into managing this situation. But if everything I'm being told is true (and there's no reason for my mate to bullshit) then he's completely lost the dressing room. From Lennons comments on Woolery in the press I would say its likely true, the comments Lennon made on the likes of Vela and Madine might well be accurate but when you are trying to get players to run through brick walls for you probably not the wisest chocie of words, in Lennons defence this has been happening all season, mistake after mistake and he has just had enough of defending and mollycoddling the players.

Is this the same mate who doesn't even know who Woollery is, yet somehow has all this inside information from the dressing room? Aye alright.

March 9, 201610 yr I'm hanging on to these comments, and believing even a modest manager will get some points out of the team we currently have. Especially next year! Edited March 9, 201610 yr by Plums
March 9, 201610 yr Aye, but the team we currently have won't be the team we have next season. How many do you reckon will be from last night? I reckon Rachubka, Wilson, Osede (possibly), Holding (possibly), Clough (possibly).
March 9, 201610 yr Can't defend Lennon anymore. Poor recruitment in the Summer, poor tactics and team selection, but worst of all his man management skills are non existent. Gardening leave is best for all concerned and at least finish the season with a dressing room pulling in the same direction.
March 9, 201610 yr Had the conversation with my old man today of how many of last night's team would I keep given the choice and fully expecting to be in league 1. Wilson, Holding & Derik (wages permitting) are the only 3 I'd keep. Sell Clough and give the rest away/not renew contracts to keep the wages bill down. Theres a few currently injured or out on loan I'd keep and not seen enough of the kids to pass judgement on them. I would like to keep Danns though on a small wage for a year if he'd take it
March 9, 201610 yr Apart from holding, clough and vela, I would get rid of em all. That team would struggle in div 1
March 9, 201610 yr Davies,Spearing,Amos,Pratley all on contract I would be suprised if they can get better deals elsewhere, they should be top top players in League 1 and Trotter could be useful at that level. I would like to keep Feeney, obviously Holding and ZC plus Woolery, I have never been a fan of Vela would only be a squad player at best for me and if he moves on wouldnt be to concerned. March 9, 201610 yr If Davies, Spearing, Amos & Pratley are under contract for next season, we'll go bust before Christmas on league 1 income. They'll all have to be loaned out.
March 9, 201610 yr He's a bad, bad man Manager I was going to say I'm going to sound a cunt for saying this but no, I'm going to. Before he came I was slated for saying he'll start a row in an empty room. I might be right just this once mind.

March 9, 201610 yr Should of started. Said he was ill. Dropped to bench. Dropped from squad Lennon doesnt seem to be happy

Think that's why SS have to show initial 7.5 million down payment plus 12.5 million to cover next seasons wages. Edited March 9, 201610 yr by Mounts Kipper
March 9, 201610 yr Think that's why SS have to show initial 7.5 million down payment plus 12.5 million to cover next seasons wages. And the real chance of them having £20m?

March 9, 201610 yr Beginning to temper my ire with the players, albeit only slightly. Some senior players have still massively underperformed, but the manager is appearing increasingly culpable. No doubt he's been dealt a difficult hand, but he's seemingly losing the plot. He'd be better resigning for the sake of his own health let alone his career. If these supposed falling out with players and off field activities continue he may find himself looking at misconduct and suspension, a way for the club to remove him cheaply.
March 9, 201610 yr How many players have we had drop out at the last minute? Woolery last night and Heskey on Saturday? Is Lennon claiming Heskey doesn't want to play, even though the fucker will be a multi-millionaire and could live comfortably forever, clearly he still wants to play. Laurie Wilson clearly wants to play, yet the fucker has been playing someone "off the boil" there all season. You can't have it both ways Neil.
March 9, 201610 yr Can some fucker change the title of this thread - I stayed untl the end, it was definitely 2-2
