IT COST only 15 shillings new, but now, nearly 90 years later, a rare 1923 Bolton Wanderers versus West Ham United FA Cup final ticket is set to fetch up to £1,200 at auction.

This game is called where's Holdsworth.

My Grandad was there as a 13 year old youth, he said that it took 'bloody hours' on the charrabanc

T'was a good day that. Missed last train back though. So I walked home

So I'm guessing hats were pretty popular back in the day then...

The cost for the enclosure was 3/- (15p for moderns) and the average price of tickets was 22p.

Would expect a huge number of neutrals as well with it being the first final at the Empire Stadium etc.
