Holding

Our best prospect by a country mile. Has the potential to make it to the top IMO.

Will be gutted if he's able to walk away at the end of the season.

Got to get him signed up, even if it's only to get some decent cash for him in the summer rather than the pittance we'd get for compensation. Ideally I'd certainly be looking to build the team around him, Vela and Clough for years to come.

He could be a star in the making.

Best centre back ability wise since Cahill.

Fingers crossed we can get him signed up in the summer.

We need to build the squad around him. Ideal Captain material imo.

Really like him, he needs an experienced head next to him though for his next season. He's a great prospect lets hope we can keep hold of him.

Also really like him, Clough and vela. Think the old "go there sit on the bench or stay here and get game time" is our best bet rather than promising £££

Phil Brown will sort it.

Gna sound daft here but all that talk on Sky about the stuff Stones does bringing the ball out of defence, confidence on the ball, use of the ball...Holding does it all. Alright it's a leafue below but he defends well and hus positioning is sound for a man of his age. Really believe we've got a player on our hands here. Sadly he's unlikely to be around for long.

Early days but hes too good for us. What a pity.

Stop playing him and hide him in the reserves in hope no cunt notices him..

Holding Vela Clough, Woolery and Walker we have a decent backbone of young uns

Get an experienced defender in at centre half, (assuming wheater will be gone)

players like White, Finney and Fitzsimmons and thelkheld must be half decent if we have kept them here but obv need experience in there too..

fingers crossed

Walker??? Have you ever seem him play?

I only saw him one game, and he seemed ok, just put his lack of playing down to youth/Lennons out of favour policy

Would add Maher to the list. Shame he's effectively lost a year of development not being out on loan.

Wheater would be an ideal candidate to stay were he not injured for 80% of the season and getting paid a fortune for the privelege.

Reckon Walker would do just fine in League One btw.

Haven't seen Maher so couldn't say. We seem to have some decent youth coming through so with decent direction we should be able to save some pennies that way and slowly rebuild.

He reminds me of John Stones. He's brilliant

Have we ever kept a clean sheet when he has played ?

Blackburn? Clean sheets are a distant memory; I really rate the lad. Hoping for Beckenbauer, but will settle for Mark Fish

Player of the season for me as he's the only one who's played consistently well. Says everything about our season

Feeney or Moxey should be player of the season for over the course of the whole season. Tallest dwarf.

The number of youngsters in or close to the first team is the best hope we have for next season. Vela, Holding, Derik, Finney , Taylor, Maher. Walker, Clough, Woolery, Thomas (nearly ) + White & Threlkeld have been getting very good reports from their loan spells, but there's no target man/ physical striker in that lot.

More important though, is to bring in a manager who can organise the team & balance the yougsters with a few experienced & physically tougher old pros.

Spot on.

Clough has been bang average and disappears more than mark Davies.

When we went 442 he got into the game more

Don't think we can play 442 with mavies in the team.

He shouldn't be in the team so that's that issue solved.
