Marc505
A Boro fan at work said he's absolutely sure that we'll beat them. I told him we're likely to get hammered 4-0. He wasn't having any of it, and is adamant that now we're relegated we'll win. Lunatic. Can see how that works with some teams, pressure off, try stuff they might not have felt able to with relegation looming. So I can understand why they might think we'll win, same types of people I've had trouble explaining just how shit we really are for the last year or two, still carrying some residual memory of us being a decent side. Not with this shower of pricks though. Defeat.

Dr Faustus
Black Saturday? What's the record home defeat live on sky? Any hoots, 4-1 SJM hat trick and Pollock scoring for both before eating a live owl in cerebration

Marc505
Got to be the 0-6. As for at Middlebrook pleasuredome, sure there'll have been some 0-4's, Chelsea in the game after Nat died perhaps? Blackburn routing us in Div 1 in 90's, was the 1-5 v Coventry televised?

Scum had already done us 5-0 on the telly about three weeks earlier. Also at home.
Marc505
Ahh yeah, that period of games where people like Phil Jones were allowed to stroll unchallenged from one box to the other. Remember it well.

stevieb
That Chelsea game we were 4 nil down in 28 minutes. I finished my first pint and went straight to scotts. It's been fucking wank supporting us for years.
Site Supporter Spider Posted April 14, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted April 14, 2016 It's been fucking wank supporting us for years. We all need to fuck it off and support Liverpool or Man United or Man City. Of course, it would remove all our dignity and self respect, and we may have to move to Little Hulton, but it's worth it for those big European nights. stevieb
When the big European nights come around again (us v total network solutions in pre season) we'll all know that we've remained clean. No supporting other clubs No cushion shopping No convenient excuses See you at Wembley...

Just thinking - 2007-8 we played 3 of the 4 CL semi-finalists a total of 6 times: 1W, 3D, 2L.
