Was considering Radcliffe, then remembered its New Order, was considering Mansfield, then realised Im working. So I'll do York, if any. Always wanted York away - perhaps not as a reserves friendly though like...

Testimonial for Warwick Rimmer. Plus they're the only remaining club from our lengthy list of traditional rivals that we can still take the piss for being in a lower division than us.

Was a few week back. Class boozer.

Even though its an X1, i'm surprised there playing when York races are on.

I'm there Friday night (Kaiser Chiefs) so may stay on for our game.

If pre-season is abroad but localish or cheap fl;ights, anyone going to go?

Think I might do York as its not far for me

And there's worse places to spend a day on the beers

Then if I decide after a few beers I can't be arsed with the game then it's no great loss

Surely itll be announced soon. Must be quite a costly exercise I'm quite surprised really.

Interesting that any potential new manager would have to come in and work to a pre season schedule devised by someone else.

Kick about on a Dubai beach with ex-pats the players have been socialising with on their mid-season breaks
