I just can not bring myself to trust KA.

I just can not bring myself to trust KA.

I don't think we have much choice

For me, as he gets nowt unless we do well on the pitch, I'm OK with him

The fact ED seemingly gets first dibs on any asset sales keeps KA in check, imo

Cant believe people having a pop at the ST ............we might actually need them in the end  ffs.

I still am not sure at what point they would ever be needed  -  if we go into administration, they've not got the funds to get us out of it, so we'd just be sold off to the highest bidder surely (which, granted, may or may not be them)

My basic view is

KA came in when no one else would and saved us from ruin

Got rid of deadwood in the squad

Brought in a decent manager and staff (DH would have had Browny)

Kept the best players

Signed new ones

Invested in the training ground and facilities

Attempt to utilise assets better

Have no issue with him at all

Apart from the sweating...

That's where I'm at and the subtext seems to be that if Deano can't match Ken's further investment, then Ken wants Dean out, which I'm happy with too.

It's also where I find myself, so #teamsweaty.

I think either way we are better with one person calling the shots going forward rather than the stand off we have at present. As a poster said earlier KA has made a lot of good decisions so far.

I'd expect to see a new investor before the transfer window can't see Ken going it alone.

As long as Mandaric isn't that investor.

If Deano hasn't got any money and isn't prepared to match what KA has put in, he can fucking do one.

He never had any money in the first place. He lost his main man in Bruce Gordon at the death and KA bailed us out.

That report claims ka has someone lined up to put money in.

Seems too simple but why does dh have to be out for this to happen. If they're mates of ka then why not just get them to talk to deano and do a deal; if there's bad blood then ka could just let them deal with deano and then move forward.

Where's Horwich?......I'm expecting him to pitch up with an "I told you so" shortly

Know what you mean but let's be fair: without deanos efforts then it is highly likely we'd have gone into admin or similar.

We've got a lot to thank dh for and I'm sure he'll not do anything to jeopardise the club's future.

The report indicates that both are saying the other hasn't invested what they said they would so be interesting to see what comes out in the wash.

It was always gonna happen

Logically there has to be a KA game plan otherwise he's going to wind up with next to jack shit if administration happens

Must be someone lurking in the background willing to fund the operation better than Deano.

Credit to Deano in the first instance for helping to save the club..........but as they say in the movies

'Lake Mitchigan's  deep this time of the year.'

Thanks for everything, Deano; close the door on your way out

I'm here

I did though

Just spoke to DH, who says no deal yet finalised. But added: "I can't let it get to the stage where people's jobs are under threat." #bwfc

He added: "I do not want to leave. But this is not about me winning or losing. Club belongs to fans. We will see what happens." #bwfc

At least he'll be able to tell the class what went on should he leave. Unless there's a keep yer gob shut agreement.

its not based on owt other than gut feel, but i didnt think DH put any cash in

like i say, might not be the case

He probably didn't put owt other than time and effort in

KA came in at last minute to help him out when he other backer fell through

More likely DH doesn't want to walk away with nowt as if it wasn't for him KA or the club might not be on this position

And by walking away with nowt I don't mean he's holding the club to ransom but more likely feels he deserves some sort of cash pay out and recognition for his part in all this

Whereas KA is offering him a hand shake and signed picture of the last match at Burnden

What it does show, irrespective of blame, is that the premise that the new owners had sufficient funds to keep us going until the end of the season was bollocks.

Unless of course one or both have refused to put in the money they said they would.

i believe DH provided £5M of funding and ken put a quid in, which made him controlling party , a legal clause DH was unaware
