But I will sneer at Stereophonics fans (well, I won't but had there been a more boring band in the history orf music - rather listen to Red Nex)

The Stereophonics were brill til Stuart Cable left and they went all wimpy

Mrs Duff won't drown...

Could've done a Special 'fully clothed' Battlenips with her...

Always preferred Duff in GNR. Cool as... he also joined Jane’s Addiction for a while but things didn’t quite work out... or Axl came calling, can’t be sure.

GNR did cover New Rose by The Damned - and whilst it was shite - it did give Brian James the song writer some much needed royalties.

Only time I should’ve seen GNR is when they were at Donnington (88??) and a couple of folks died during their set. I got grounded the week before. Missed both Donnington and Rochdale away!

Sadly one of the forgotten bands of The Sheffield Scene in the late 70s who played alongside bands such as Vice Versa (Later to become ABC), The Human League and Heaven 17.

I’d rather listen to the macabre gurgling sounds of someone being decapitated than anything by Meatloaf.

I will accept no argument on this. Bat out of hell and everything that followed from this songwriting team is the worst music ever recorded.

Fucking hideous stuff that makes the skin crawl. Awful awful awful.

Nope completely wrong.

It is a great album. Good videos and a fantastic stage show.

I've never heard of Rush

Big Band .

Not my favourite by any means.  Very loyal passionate fan base.

I know at least 2 Wanderers fans who can wax lyrical about then all day.

Unfortunately now no more.

For me Farewell to King's is my favourite album.

Went seeing them on the last tour.

Unfortunately that night ( for me I didn't enjoy it).

But loads of people luv em.

Thought I'd post this as today marks the 40th anniversary of the death of an unsung musical legend, Grimsby's late great Steve Currie.

After playing bass guitar in local jazz rock band The Rumble he joined T.Rex in 1970 and played on all the hit singles and albums from early 1971-mid 1976.

His death came only 3 1/2 years after the death of lead vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Marc Bolan also in a car accident and 6 months after Bolan's original Tyrannosaurus Rex partner Steve Peregrin-Took of a drug related death.

R. I. P. Steve and thanks for the music.

😁😁😁

Theres not much in it, not much at all

Just seen this - I'm channelling more of a bee gee vibe.

Y Not festival line up announced last night, looks a belting line up but not convinced it will go ahead at end of July

It's a pissed up vinyl night here, happens not infrequently but you have to just nod and let things take their course before you can put summat decent on.

Here's the last few she's had on:

Psychedelic Furs - Pretty In Pink

Grease - Summer Nights

REM - End Of The World

Jane's Addiction - Been Caught Stealing

Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time

Jason Donovan - Rhythm Of The Rain

Holiday Rap - MC Miker G & DJ Sven

Rory Gallagher - Going To My Hometown

No idea where it will end up.

How the fuck you can have Somewhere In Time rubbing shoulders with Grease and Jason Donovan is beyond me.

That’s real sublime/ridiculous

Aye Grease and JD don't deserve to be put alongside the shite that is Iron Maiden.

Currently in the midst of a Rammstein sesh in the Spencer house.

Big problem at the moment is festivals cant get insurance if they can't go ahead. They're asking government to underwrite.

I'm up for it

Right confession time

Coldplay.
Wankers.

However. If you would have played me Shiver from their first Album and put it up against some dross like fix you or paradise I would have said no fuckin way are they the same band

That being said I looked through their first two albums, and there is undeniable brilliance in both albums.

After that he started shagging a woman who names her kids after fruit and bottles her fanny farts so it was inevitable that they were gonna shit out.

The curly haired equals tattoo wanker.

Thank you for coming to my talk today.

Can't believe you've admitted your sins.

He's a nice bloke for a privileged knobhead. Met him on south ham's paddling a couple of times
