No offence like but they were wank first time round

Is this a comeback tour or are they still going "strong"?

Probably got bored of watching Richard and Judy

  • 2 weeks later...

No doubt I'll get mocked for this, but I only heard of Sam Fender last week. Writes some cracking tunes. Obviously heavily influenced by Springstein.

I keep hearing his name, heard a couple of his songs here and there

Tried his album and like Springsteen found it very middle of the road

Not for me but he seems to be popular

Liked his interview on BBC breakfast

Meh. He's not offensive to my ears. Heard that hypersonic missiles song way too many times though.

Not for me musically but I think he's great and hope he has huge success.

Genuine question, I'm not taking piss but do you like anything mainstream?

Loads and loads of stuff.

Love a bit of Taylor Swift, Larna Del Ray, just working at the moment and listening to my liked songs playlist, I'm not sure what you'd call mainstream I certainly don't think a lot of this is underground stuff...

What have we on here....

FKA Twigs, HAIM, U2, Prince, Gorillaz, Bowie, James, dunno that's all pretty mainstream.

The Sound of Someone You Love Who Is Going Away and It Doesn't Matter by Penguin Cafe Orchestra is currently on. Its beautiful and if you think you don't know them, their music has been used on lots of adverts so you'd recognise them.

Oooh Johnny Flynn has just come on, lovely, perfect for an autumn afternoon stuck inside organising design amends for onsales!

Awww forgotten how good this song was;

The fuckin pretentiousness in this statement

Fuck me. You’re shit at relationships and you have a set of pipes on you. It’s still an album luv, wind it in ffs

Lad I used to work with was a right rum cunt and also a hunter/poacher and one of his very favourite stories was about Adele. Only bloke I’ve ever met who could tell a story that ended with “and that’s how I had a deer out of Adele’s back garden”.

I love her, she's so beautiful 😍

To be fair, that's not from Adele herself. It's from her lunatic fans.

I can see how women would like her, but to many men she's just a whiny bitch.

Both. Miserable bastard doesn't even like me playing Christmas music 🙄

I love a good moan, but I'm making real efforts to be more positive.

I only heard it for the first time last week. Didn't realise it was released a couple of years ago. Everything I've listened to from him since has been top notch.

The killer line in this one is obviously "I was far too scared to hit him - but I would hit him a heartbeat now".

But "I see my mother - the DWP see a number" is a fantastic lyric. Talented kid.
