Bloodywood. Been a fan of the few tracks they'd put on youtube they've got a proper album out next year.

Mate it’s fuckin brilliant. Production is incredible by hit-boy again. And it’s got DJ Premier on it.

Plus he’s announced Kings Disease 3 is coming next year

Yeah was just listening to it the other day. Hit-boy definitely sparked something. He's been more productive than he's ever been this past 18 months!

He’s incredible. Such a great producer Nas & Hitboy the new Gangstarr love that lyric

They get a bit overlooked maybe because of the famous ones getting used in adverts but I've always had a soft spot for Mr Gano and his cronies.

was meant to be doing Wolf Alice  next week at the Apollo

got email to see it's being re-scheduled, no new date yet

I've gone with Kick Out The Jams Live by MC5

You might have heard it, if so let me know.

Fred 'Sonic' Smith was married to Patti Smith and they hugely influenced American punk and garage - which went a different route to ours.

I think its a sort of year dot for a lot of what came after and the best of it is, it still sounds amazing today.

Got this album 30 years ago when KLF / JAMMS sampled and Bobby Gillespie cited as birth of punk.

I still find it gobsmacking that it came out in 1968.

The whole story and Robert Mapplebeck as well is fascinating.

The Roots aka The Alabama Porch Monkeys. Not my words the words of Spike Lee.

New single by Warmduscher is a little belter

My mate stuck this on FB and I love it. Never heard of them before today.

The Lottery Winners were good last night.

Was a gig at Definitely Maybe in town, which is a splendid place, though lacks the grittiness it had as Bergeracs. And no porn on the tellies.

I spoke to the bassist, Kate, afterwards and she’s delightful.

The lead singer is a dead ringer for Fred Dibnah.

Decided this is my song. Absolute BANGA
