  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

After crime/ detective type of recommends similar to Luther.

Cheers.

Never bothered with Luther (yet), but we really enjoyed the cardinal series (4 of them).

Some good sub plots, some evil/nasty bastards, and some sick/grizzly endings for folk.

On i player.

Yeah we did Cardinal a few week ago. Started at series 4. Did 1-3 after.

Half way through series 2

Its not one that makes me beg for more, but as it goes on and you start to know them, its definitely getting better

Might be me, but too often i find it goes from what the fcuks going on, to crime solved

Just on the young uns getting shot, thinking its too obvious they were all in the same class...

Agreed often jumped to crime solved out of nowhere. Never an easy watch, bit 2nd half of S3 was pretty good.

Finished the shield last night ,7 series ,could never have done that without lockdown

excellent stuff

You did the same as me. BBC labelled the series wrongly initially!

Will try Luther then.

Series was on BBC. So we watched then went backwards on i player. Think series 1 would have been even better watching in proper order to resolve the good cop/bad cop question.

I'm ploughing through season 2 and the introduction of Danny de Vito has taken it to a whole new level.

It's as good as any comedy I've seen for ages.

Yeah there’s no coincidence that it got even better when De Vito came into it.
one of the best comedies that

Zero, Zero, Zero. Described as a cross between Gomorrah and Narco's. Anyone seen it? About to give it a go.

Started Watchmen the TV series

1 episode in, nowt like the film so far, bar a few references

Good soundtrack

just finished it, loved it, 10/10

turns out it was totally related to the film and primarily set 35 years later - so really no point in watching it if you havent' seen the film, or didn't enjoy it

story very apt for these times we live in

It's from the same people as Gomorrah I believe. Producers and author. I started watching it then I couldn't find it again for some reason haha.

Tried White Lines. Lasted 3 episodes. Not for me

Ozark is very good so far. Only 5 episodes in to Series 1 but looking forward to hammering it

Youngest recommended Line of Duty. Any good?

I had never watched top boy apart from first episode a couple of times. Bang into it now. Superb

Line of Duty is one of the best British police dramas ever, imo, great acting performances.

Stick with Ozark, first season is a bit slow in the middle but then just gets better. Seriously fucked up characters.

Agree with you about White Lines - tosh.

Which one are you watching - the first two seasons which are on Netflix as Top Boy: Summerhouse or 'Top Boy' which is actually the third season?

Summerhouse is betterthan the Netflix series which drags in the middle a bit imo

It’s got All of them pal. First two are 4 episodes each and then a 10 episode series

Somehow... Fuck knows how... We got to episode 9 before my Mrs binned white lines off. There's only 10 episodes.

I said it was shit after 10 mins.
