  • Ah, those lads who wanted their country back , upset by foreigners who came over on boats pinching  all the houses and land and changing the native culture and not assimilating into it.  thought you

  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

Just finished season 7 of homeland. Bloody brilliant, again

I'd recorded Homeland but they auto deleted as I hadn't watched them in time. They on catch up now?

Started Line of Duty this week, sacked it off after about 5 of series one. It's wooden as fuck, can't understand all the fuss.

Just looked. Seven series are on Netflix.

Cheers - think Channel 4 had series 8 on recently. I'll have to wait for that to come on Netflix

You'd understand if you watched them all.

Do you regard yourself as a patient chap?

I think that's why the sopranos is so good, its not just about the mafia.

Dunno, Breaking Bad just seemed to limp to a conclusion. But the ending of the sopranos - amazing stuff.

If you’re on SkyQ there’s a way of bringing back deleted stuff.

Home > Recordings [Select) > Manage (Select) > Deleted (Select) > Undelete

Wasn't that - just seemed dead shit acting.

That Martin Compston bloke is most unconvincing copper ever - looks about 12 in his dad's suit. And why the shite accent?

And the Irish bloke just seems like a piss take, I kept expecting Father Ted to rock up.

And Tony kept driving two different Jags. Which pissed me off no end for some reason

Even Vicky McClure looks like she can't be arsed

You got my hopes up then!

Nowt there I'm afraid

Must permanently delete if they age out rather than you manually deleting from your recorded stuff.

The new spin off power series is absolutely quality for anyone that’s seen the original.

He’s a jock with a really thick accent so he’s done well to cover it

The first season is just finding it’s feet, it’s arguably the worst one, IMO along with Luther it’s the best thing the beeb has produced in years

The West Wing

Let me do it this way

Breaking Bad
Sopranos
The Wires

No other show has broke into that

The Shield Luther, Line of Duty, Better call Saul, Ozark if they carry on are next, Homeland gets into that second category

House of Cards ( US Version) definitely in that second category for me.

I don’t remember this one being mentioned before and I’m only early in the first season but so far Kingdom has been good. Drama based in an MMA gym

Wire was no1 til the shield for me. Breaking bad was good but I though SOA was better than BB. LoD exceptional as well. Luther a bit meh.

I shall start homeland this week

Well worth it mate. Just started Series 3 of Homeland. Very addictive

i also thought Line of Duty was very, very good but you had to stick with it

This Netflix voodoo is a revelation to me. I’d resisted it for years. Then Mrs Manc told me we were getting it. I had no choice in the matter. You can imagine how short that discussion was. As per, she was correct

Onto season 8 of Homeland. Absolutely brilliant, gripping TV

Loving her. Looks like I’ve got another 5 series to go to find out about her. If the twist is as good as Ozark then I’m well happy
