Anyone famous in it ? Anyone I might know from other programmes like Dr Who or Emerdale ?

Jenna Coleman is in it - ex Emmerdale, Victoria etc (she's from Blackpool) & is '70's sexy.

Kane is correct though, it's a great watch. True story too.

@Escobarp, you'll love it.

Gonna be gutted when it’s over

Was going to.start your honor but it got shocking reviews. Might give it another go.

Also, Bolts, casting doesn't have to be literal - thats one of the fun parts about acting, its make believe for grown ups.

Wait til he finds out that Shakespeare himself used black actors for white roles🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

TBF James Bond is historically white but it doesn't stop him touting Idris Elba for the role when the opportunity arises

I sometimes wonder if I'm on ignore...

I posted the following earlier - "used black actors"? Why wouldn't a black man like Shakespeare use them?

Watch the whole episode to discover how many 'white' geezers from Henry VIII to Tom Jones were/are black.

It's ahistorical whitewash.

I reckon' that 'The Serpent' looks good - about some murderous con-man working the 1970s hippy trail.

That girl out of Emmerdale and Doctor Who who's 34 but look perma-jailbait portrays his bird.

@ZicoKelly

The next Bond will be a woman - Suranne Jones has had a screentest already following her acclaimed portrayal of 19th Century 'chick with a strap-on dick' in 'Mr. Jones' (or sommat).

She just has to shed that Manc twang that sometimes just momentarily pops out, regardless of role, to satisfy the scrict casting requirements laid down by author John Broccoli and overseen today by great-nephew Lobby Broccolli III.

Don't fear though, Bond will be a slag who shags about still.

Idris Elba has already signed on as the first 'Bond Lad', he'll portray a fellow agent Bond seduces - codename 'Mr. Big'.

Other names in the frame to play the new Bond's conquests include; Owen Wilson, Gok Wan, Phil Middlemiss (Corrie's 'Des Barnes') and crooner Mick Hucknall.

Its also about narrative realism, we've been through a period where to be as close to as it was has been lauded. Thankfully in film we're coming out of the grip of that a bit. The David Cooperfield released last year is probably one of the best examples of this. A great film, a real reinterpretation of a classic, bringing out new parts of it, but probably closer in spirit to Dickens' writing.

I shall now retreat back to pseud's corner.

In more ways than one.

I'm not watching it properly btw.

It's muted/subtitles...

I'm annoying the neighbours listening to 'Joey Beltram @ Easter Awakenings Anniversary 2011'.

He's all over the show at times.

I doubt anyone noticed who was there...😍

Started watching The Serpent. Very good.

No matey. Only NIC has made it back on to that particular roll of honour. You may be surprised to learn that I 'skim' a lot of your stuff in the interests of conserving time for uses more apt.

I thought there'd at least be a page or so of lewd comments...

It was a Sunday (other halves present) so I presume most blokes couldn't just abruptly switch to More 4 seemingly apropos of nothing, then sit rubbing their thighs.

She was pure fur coat no knickers filth.

You should watch that Louis Theroux clip - you might learn something not taught at BCGS (aka Bolton Cretin's & Goon's School).

Lasted a week off it. You've got to be proud with that.

I think like his idol Trump he was all bluster and bluff - he said I was joining the dirty dozen once but then he continued replying to (unquoted) posts of mine.

I think he couldn't think of a suitable adjective to accompany 'thirteen' or 'baker's dozen'...
