  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

Bad was waaaay after - 87/88?

Jacko probably could've molested me and friends during the 'Bad' era. Thankfully Guns 'n Roses came along and steered us onto the right path, we'd fucked them off by Use Your Illusion 1 and 2, probably anything less heavy than Obituary was glam metal in our narrow minds.

Was never into Jacko - my dad also steered me into the path of rock. Was obsessed with Whitesnake, Def Leppard and AC/DC at Primary..then GnR...then Metallica and onto heavier stuff.

My old man liked ABBA, Tom Jones, Boney M...

He would be around Paul McCartney's age if he wasn't brown bread.

I never got why he liked shite.

Def Leppard were like a gateway drug.

He (my dad) loved it when I saved up and bought a midi system from the BEN classifieds and blasted out Death or Malevolent Creation et al.

Jacko made a handful of quality songs and a lot of Shite.

Only Prince beats him for gems/shite ratio.

Edit: That Tabby Kitten has pegged it re: Whitesnake. I was surprised by that.

Dad took me to X Records before it moved to its bigger premises. Got a David Coverdale T-shirt (I was about 10 to be fair)

Also took me to my first gig - AC/DC at Birmingham NEC, Razor's Edge tour. Loved that album.

I was a total snob - went from Appetite for Destruction to unsigned New York and Scandinavian bands in about 18 months.

I think my first proper gig was Clash of the Titans, they revolved the headliners, Slayer were on before Megadeth and erm slayed it, so Megadeth just cranked it up to eleven to try and outdo them, my tinnitus is probably due to Mustaine's overamped screeching at two of their gigs.

For anyone who enjoyed the Vikings series there is a new one starting on feb 25th called Vikings Valhalla

I really liked Vikings, I like the look of this I think....

Just on the last series, might have to have a bit of a viking break after this.

But yes, I'm now certain its much better (apart from moping around Iceland and the middle eastern adventure) when Ragnar finally died.

Don't encourage the fuckers. Caused utter carnage to our forefathers.

I am still seeking reparations/compensation once I find the right procedure.

Trigger Point - has potential but that van blast -oh dear

Responder - I’ll give it a couple more episodes but not expecting much

Ozark - I’m liking it

The Hunt For Bible John.

Been watching that too. I always like these type of programmes.

Started archive 81 on Netflix. It’s alright.

Stumbled across Question of Sport the other night, and only carried on watching it because of Sam Quek. Kinell, she is something else.

Woah woah woah

Jacko Made 2 1/2 good  albums. And maybe 3 decent singles after that.

Prince made…..

Yknow what I’ve just looked at Princes discography and I doubt the ratio would in fact be kind to him.

I once heard he made at least 2 songs a day at Paisley Park. You know there must be some utter guff in that

Thriller and Bad both have fillers on.

Apparently one of the probably false accusers of Jacko who claimed he bummed him bummed Prince's missus Mayte - if true I bet Prince was hiding in a Purple cupboard watching and wanking and writing a crap song. Jesus I have 'Emancipation' about thirty songs and all but two are shite.

I agree. Off the wall is excellent. Thriller has the girl is mine, Bad has speed demon and man in mirror. Make that change oh fuck off.

Even if he was a nonce let him off because he wrote 'Wanna be starting something'.

Culkin has said he didn't nonce him.

Culkin also nobbed Mila Kunis, thwarting the attempts of Russell Brand's efforts to get her into his clutches.

Hope everyone is pissed and watching the musicals show from.manchester as my Mrs has worked her fanny off for Drifter's Girl and School of Rock on this. Oh and the preview of bedknobs and Broomsticks.

Yeah, but you'd have to get your nob turned inside out...

It's absolutely awful - Paddy is shite, she's shite I can't even recall who the other captain is, some rugby bloke I'd never even heard of...

She's a lovely girl too, her and her hubby own a portfolio of student properties around Liverpool, my youngest is currently living in one, very down to earth girl.

The Hillsborough thing with Maxine Peake was a pretty decent watch. She was also quite decent in Rules of the Game on BBC as well.
