  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

Silo is fantastic so far. I’d definitely make that Juliette character a slap up tea before slobbering all over her.

Thanks.  Finally watched it and enjoyed it.  Can't wait for a second series and a third of Slow Horses.

Apple TV don't have a lot of content but what they have is usually quality.

Das Boot series 4. Just superb.

Does that mean it was good in parts ?

Suggests some shit is being made at the moment.

maybe not on par with saville and Maxine carr stuff. Find that very odd.

Filled all this weekend of no football with the Beckham doc, was very good, more interesting than I anticipated, including Victoria's contributions.

The level of abuse and length of time it went on after France 98 was awful, bearing in mind we were still in the infancy of social media and wall to wall news / sports news coverage. Arguably it could have been worse now, only thing to mitigate would be much more awarenesses of the impact on his and her mental health and on the wellbeing of his kids.

Thanks for all the views on Saville, The Long Shadow, will have a depressing midweek catching up on both

Looking forward to the new Frasier season

It’s very good so far, 3 episodes in. Always rather fearful these reboots don’t have the old sparkle, but this does.

watched the jill dando doc the other night

hard to believe they never caught the killer, professional hit imo

it had the most media coverage seen bar diana's death at the time

Lessons in Chemistry (that book that everyone seemed to be reading last summer) has been made into a TV show - pretty decent. Its on Apple TV, which now after a bit of a rubbish launch has loads of good programmes on it.

The documetary on the Super Models is worth a watch. Cindy Crawford apparently was on course to an academic career in Chemical Engineering before she started modelling.

The criminal geezer who reckoned he knew who had done it but could not say was funny, Powpa naughty geezer.

The Reckoning was excellent

Coogan was almost too good, like he was born to play that role

had no idea he had a team mate in his younger days

and ultimiately it all just started to fall apart as he got older and "less famous"

everyone started to shun him, but still he walked free with old habits dying hard

The team mate was piccadillys breakfast show host

That's Sir Crawley to you.

And yes, its been the best TV other than Succession for a long time.

Second series doesn't let the quality drop either you'll be pleased to know.

There is some lovely moments in the second series where you find out a lot more about her. But also everyone - you can tell they had more budget. Much more of an ensemble show rather than just on Carmen.

There is one episode with Jamie Lee Curtis set at Christmas that is one of the best hours of TV I've seen.

Seems everyone wanted to be in it as well - Olivia Colman, Jamie Lee Curtis, Bob Odenkirk

Started 'The Long Shadow'. Watched the first two so far. An unforgettable period for those who lived through it. Well worth a watch.

If only I didn't keep expecting the lead copper to get a metal detector out.

Was stuck for something to watch tonight, so scrolled through this thread. Managed to watch first 2 episodes. Good so far.

Been watching ‘celebrity race across the world’. I don’t really watch stuff like this normally but really enjoyed it. The penultimate episode has them travelling around Central Europe by both bus and train. I’ve done it myself many times. Well worth a watch on iPlayer if anyone missed it.

The 3 other (non celebrity) series are a decent watch.

London to Marina Bay, Singapore.

Mexico City to Ushuaia, Argentina.

Vancouver to Nova Scotia
