Many tv shows have first gained my attention due to being watched by the goggleboxers

I always think Gogglebox would be good if they watched Gogglebox and slagged each other off. Type of thing for Comic Relief.

The 2 geordie birds calling the others thick.

Mammoth coming up on BBC2 (Wednesday?). Humorous potential. Reserving judgement.

Same

It'll either be very good or end up like those shite 'comedies' that start off on BBC3

Enjoying Fallout on Amazon Prime.

Have you ever played the games? It's quite remarkable how closely the TV show has replicated the ambience of them. Great decision to get the game developers involved in the production of it. Superb stuff.

I have - although I'm not a huge game player, these games seem to need about 100 hrs just to really get into them nowadays. But the agency I worked for before did all the media for Bethesda so we got freebies from time to time.  I did a few hours on Fallout 4 and the look and feel is very similar, the whole concept though is great though, it shows with this and The Last of Us the creativity in the gaming world in terms of storytelling.

The reunion is worth a watch too. Once the two brothers were eliminated I found myself liking all of the competitors and not minding who won which hasn’t been the case with the previous two series’.

I ran out of steam with 3, but jumped back in before starting 4

3 all got a bit samey

This should be good, language barrier makes it interesting

Surprised the lack of english speakers in Japan

Presumably will get worse the further they go from the big cities. Cultural difference will be mad.

Jimmy Carr: Natural Born Killer

Now, I like Jimmy Carr. He’s very, very funny in my opinion. Pushes the boundaries, doesn’t give a fuck, takes comedy where it should maybe go

This is utter, utter shite. Not remotely funny. Nothing to make me laugh at all. Real shame

Leave this sort of challenging cancel culture thing to Gervais. He’s way better at it

Tried to watch it , just boring.

The problem Carr has is that Gervais is better at it than him. I struggle with a full Gervais show as although he is funny he is also an annoying twat. Earlier Carr shows were funnier IMO.

They both seem to think they have to say 'the woke lot won't like this' despite that being obvious. Just gives the impression they are more bothered about being anti-woke than just being funny.

Watched the first two episodes this evening.

We are on episode 5. Really enjoying it, but they have gone a bit far with the very blueness of everything. There is blue in every shot.

Does it rival Kin getting shots of the Aviva stadium in for no apparent reason?

Did we ever get a review of Blue Lights, a Northern Ireland cop drama?

Me and MrsD are one and a half series in. It isn’t often she is interested enough to do back to back episodes all night.
